Section B 1a-2c By Wei Yufen一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标1) 能掌握以下单词:dumplings, porridge, green tea, orange juice, soup, onions, fish, pancakes及区分是可数名词还是不可数名词;2) 能掌握以下短语:something to eat; something to drink; a glass of water, a cup of green tea, two bottles of juice, three tins of coke; 3) 能掌握以下句型: -What kind of .would you/he/ she like? -Id / Hed / Shed like. Would you like something to eat/ drink? -Yes, Id like/ love to. / No, thanks. The sentences about ordering food on the phone : Id like to order something to eat. Thats all. What kind of food would you like? Would you like.? What else? What your address? Whats your telephone number?2. 能力目标:学会熟练问答对事物的喜好;会听,问答电话订餐; 更好地与他人合作学习3. 情感态度价值观目标:体会学习英语的乐趣,做到“在用中学”“在学中用”,感悟英语在生活中的实用性,提高学生的听力能力及技巧,和说的能力。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 通过进行听、说的训练,来提高学生们综合运用所学知识的能力。2) 掌握表达对事物喜好的句子,以及怎样较熟练地电话订餐。2. 教学难点:听力训练三、教学过程. Leading-inTell students I want to have my own restaurant. Lead to something to eat and drink on the menu of my restaurant. Then teach students to read “something to eat/ drink. And students read the words about food and drink to revise them. . Presentation1. (show some pictures of food on the big screen) Present some new words to Ss. Because students learned how to read, let them say the words together.2. T: Would you like something to eat? S1: Yes, Id like to. T: What kind of food would you like? S1: Id like. Then S1 and S2 teach other students to read the sentences and remember twice. At the same time I write the sentence structure on the white board. 3. Students ask and answer the two questions together with me. . Pairwork 1. New words and phrases: Show picture1 T: whats this? Ss: Its water. T: Its a glass of water. Then, show other pictures and we get a bag of milk , a cup of green tea , two bottles of juice, three tins of coke ,two cups of coffee. Teach to read “bottles”, “ tins”, students read the phrases and remember them. 2.Practice and pairwork. T: Would you like something to drink? S1: Yes, Id like to. T: What kind of drink would you like? S1: Id like a cup of green tea. Students practice with each other for two minutes. And show their conversations. T: Would he/she like.? S2:. T: What kind of. Would he/ she like? S3:.IV Group work 1. Finish 1a and check answers one by one. 2.Distinguish the countable nouns and the uncountable nouns, read and remember by themselves. 3. Talk about the preference for the food and drink. First, show pictures and the sentences “ I like noodles and onions.” “ I dont like hamburgers, green tea or juice. And make students know the difference between “and” and “or”, noodles” and “juice” Next, explain how to talk about what they like and what they dont like in groups. And students practice in group. Next , show the result of the group work. Group1 S1: I like. Group2 S1: I like. S2: I dont like S2: I dont like S3: I like.,and. S3: I like.,and. S4: I dont like.or. S4: I dont like.or. S5: I like.,.and. S5: I like.,.and. S6: I dont like., .or. S6: I dont like., .or.Next, students in other groups make a list of things every one likes and dislikes in y group. Then give report to the classmates: In group1 , S1 likes dumplings . S2 doesnt like meat. . Listening Work on 1c: 1. Ask Ss to look at the listening material of 1c, observe and make them clear what the two persons are doing in the listening material. 2. Students look at the order form carefully, and understand they need to find out the answer to “ Where is B?” ,“Whats Bs phone number?”, “ What would B like to order?3. Play the tape for the Ss to listen and complete the food order form. (Play the recording for the first time, students only listen carefully.Then, listen to the recording again, and write down the names of the foods. )Work on 1d: Listen again. Use the pause button to check the answers with the Ss. 4. See the listening material and make a conclusion and get how to ask for address , phone number and what would somebody like to order. 5. Students read and remember the ask sentences in step 4 for 1 minute. Order food on the phone 1. T: On weekdays,many people are busy and have no much time to eat out or cook meals, so more and more people order food on line or on the phone. Lets learn how to order some food on the phone. 2. To make students know how to use the sentences we conclude from 1c, fill in the blanks of conversation about asking and answering about odering food in the phone. 3. I give an example with a student first. Then,they practice for 3 minutes. 4. Students show their conversations and I ask others some questions( Whats his / her address/ phone number? What kind of drink/food would he/she like? Would he/she like .?) about the conversations. . Do Exercise Translate sentences in to Chinese. 1.我喜欢饺子,鱼和橙汁。 _2.我奶奶不想吃洋葱,绿茶和粥。_3.我想订些吃的。 _4.你的电话号码是多少? _5.你要哪种汤? _ VII. Homework 1. Copy the words of P58-59 for five times and remember them.(Exercise Books) 2. Make two conversations about ordering food . (Exercise Books) 3.
