Id like the beef noodles.3. 通过听力训练能够掌握点餐的表达方式。4. 通过谈论点餐,培养学生用英语进行交流的习惯。教学内容1.学会运用表示食物的单词、短语:noodle, beef, potato, special, would, yet, would like, beef noodles 2. 学会点餐的句型:What would you like? Id like beef noodles.3. 通过1b的听力内容,练习目标词汇和句型,并能根据听力从1a选出正确的图片。教学重难点1. 掌握表示点餐的词汇与句型。2. 区分表示食物的名词是可数名词还是不可数名词。 教学思路本课时的教学内容是人教版七年级下册英语第十单元的第一课时,首先引导学生观看图片,理解语境,从谈论喜欢的食物开始,自然地导入点餐的话题。What would you like? Id like the beef noodles.以活动和任务引起学生的听说兴趣,训练学生的听力和口语表达能力。利用图片学习英语单词,同时在对话中反复运用新学的单词和短语。因此,教师可以将知识目标定为掌握本课时新出现的单词和短语,点餐的句型。能力目标定为提高听说能力,情感目标定为体验用英语表达自己的快乐。教学准备设计教学PPT,录音机,多媒体,相应的插图,表示食物的图片和单词卡片。教学过程Step.Lead inLeading in 【情景1】1.Review the names of some fruit and vegetables.Ss : Good morning,Mr./Ms.T: Good morning,boys and girls!T:What did you have for breakfast this morning?Ss: T: Do you like them? But dont worry.Lets go to the restaurant to have a big meal.There are some specials there.You can choose whatever you like.(Show the beautiful pictures of mutton, beef, noodles, chicken, cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes and carrots on the PPT.)设计意图通过游戏形式制造轻松,活跃,自由的课堂气氛,让学生积极主动地投入到英语学习中来,也为下一步单词句型的引出做好了铺垫。Step.Presentation (1a)1.New wordsShow pictures to the students about mutton, beef, noodles, chicken, cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes, carrots.Then learn about these new words.T: Now class, look at the picture. Whats this?Ss: Its mutton.T: Follow me, muttonLearn about other new words in this way.2.ChantAsk students to learn to chant, and make up their own chants in groups.What, what, what would you like?Beef, beef, Id like some beef.What, what, what would she like? Potatoes, potatoes, shed like some potatoes.What, what, what would they like? Noodles, noodles, theyd like some noodles.T: Lets chant like this.(The teacher chants for the Ss to listen and learn.) Ss listen and try to repeat what they hear.T: Do you like the chant?Ss: Yes.T: Please chant after me.What, what, what would you like?Ss: What, what, what would you like?Learn to chant one sentence by one sentence,and ask the Ss to pay attention to the intonation.教材解读What would you like?Im not sure yet. sure是形容词,意思是“确定的;可靠的”, be sure肯定的。Are you sure? 你肯定吗? I think he is coming, but Im not sure.我认为他要来,但我不十分肯定。【拓展】(1) be sure to do sth.不要忘了做某事;一定做某事,肯定做某事。Be sure to telephone me and give me all the news.请一定要给我打电话,让我知道所有的消息。The child is sure to be a teacher.这个孩子一定会成为一名教师。You are sure to win.你肯定会赢。(2)be sure of doing sth.表示人对某事物的看法,意为“对有把握”。Are you sure of passing the exam?你有把握通过考试吗?(3)be sure+从句,意为“确信”。Im not sure that he will come.我不确信他会来。(4)sure 用作副词,意为“当然;的确;一定”,常用于回答一般疑问句,相当于yes或certainly。Are you going with me?你和我一起去吗?Sure.当然了。(5)make sure意为“查明,弄清楚”,后接of, about 或that从句。You should make sure of the time.你应该把时间弄清楚。3.Match the words with the foods in 1a.T: Now look at the pictures in 1a, and match the words with the foods quickly.I give you only one minute.Ss match the words and foods as quickly as they can.T: Lets check the answers together.Mutton is g.The second one beef Check the answers like this one by one.【Keys】 1a: 1.g2.b3.c 4.d 5.e 6.f 7.a 8.h设计意图在这一环节中,chant形式活泼,学生爱学,爱读,学生通过活动,感悟理解新单词句型,不仅使课堂活跃起来,而且所有学生都参与其中,真正体现了学生的主体地位。 Step .Listening (1b)1.Before listeningT:If today is your birthday, what would you like? Ss: Chicken and cabbage noodles.T: Special 3 is(Show the picture of mutton,potato and carrot noodles.)Ss: Mutton,potato and carrot noodles.T: What kind of noodles would you like?Ss: Id like S1:Id like beef and tomato noodles.T: What kind of noodles would S1 like?Ss: He would like beef and tomato noodles.Ask Ss to make up conversations with their partners to practice: What kind of noodles would you/he/she/they like? Id/Hed/Shed/Theyd like 2.While listeningPlay the recording for the first time.Get the class to finish the task in Activity 1b.Play the recording again.And ask the questions to check their listening.T:What would the person like?Ss:Hed like beef noodles.T:So we chooseS: Special 1.The teacher plays the tape for the third time and the class read aloud in pairs.T: Listen to the tape again.Try to repeat the sentences after the tape and pay attention to the intonation.Ss listen and repeat.【Keys】1b: Special 1设计意图通过这种轻松自由交谈的方式,引出课本的重点句型,用对话形式加以练习,活跃了气氛,掌握了句型,为下面的听力做好了准备。完成听力任务,再次播放录音,让学生模仿跟读,纠正学生的语音语调。Step .Post-listening Activities (1c)1.After listening to the conversation, get the class to read them aloud.T: Now lets listen to the tape and read the conversation in 1a.Ss read aloud.Then practice the conversation.Focus on the stressed words, pronunciation and intonation.2.T: Now ask and answer about these people.Use he,she or they.Ss work in pairs.The teacher explains the differences of “some” and “any”.教材解读 1.some与any的用法区别 (1)一般说来,some用于肯定句,any用于否定句和疑问句。 She wants some chalk.她想要一些粉笔。 She doesnt want any chalk.她不想要粉笔。 (2)any可与not以外其他有否定含义的词连用,表达否定概念。 He never had any regular schooling.他从来没受过正规学校教育。 (3)any可以用于表达疑问概念的条件句中。 If you have any trouble, please let me know.如果你有任何麻烦,请让我知道。 (4)款待用语或问句的实质等于提出一个要求并希望得到肯定的回答。some也可用于疑问句。Wont you have some more tea? 你不再喝点茶吗?Could you get me some soup? 你能再给我点汤吗? 2.OK,Id like the beef noodles, please.本句中的beef noodles意思是“牛肉面条”,需要注意的是:英语中名词作定语时,通常用名词的单数形式,如:apple tree苹果树;paper bags纸袋;boy friend男朋友;tomato noodles西红柿面条。3.A gamePlay a memorizing game to help the Ss practice the sentences: Id likenoodles.Divide the Ss into three groups.Make the Ss make the sentence: Id like noodles.For example, Id like beef noodles.Id like beef and potato noodles.Id like beef, potato and mutton noodles.
