The analysis of teaching materialThe topic of this unit is about animals .Such a topic is related to our daily life, so it is helpful to raise learning interest of students, and it will be helpful to improve their spoken English.II. Key words: animal, panda ,elephant ,koala ,giraffe,lion,cute,scary,smart,beautiful. The target language:Lets see the lions. Why do you want to see them?Because they are cute. 2.Ability Aims. Enable students to describe the animals, express preferences and give reasons. 3.Emotional Aims.Enable students to know animals are our friends, we should protect them. IV.Key Points 1.Master the key words and sentences, and learn to use them into daily life. 2.Improve students listening and speaking skills.V. Difficult Points. 1.How to describe the animals, express preferences and give reasons. 2.How to develop students listening and speaking abilities.VI. Teaching Methods. Task-based teaching method, communicative approach, cooperative method.VII. Teaching Aids. multi-media, chalks.VIII. Teaching Procedures.Step1.Warm-up Greet the students as usualStep2.Lead-in. Invite students to watch a short video ,and ask them some questions ,then lead in the topic of this class.(Design intention: appeal to students, arouse their interest.)Step3.Presentation. 1.Show some pictures and lead students to learn some new words and expressions. 2.Lead students to read the new words together. 3.Divide students into groups to read new words. One group say the new words in Chinese, the other group say them in English. Have students try to say as quickly as they can. (Moral education: Animals are our good friends, we should protect them.)Step4.Guessing game. Play the sound of some animals, ask students to listen to it carefully, then tell their names.(Design intention :make students be active in class ,enable them to be interested in learning.)Step5. 1a. 1.Show the picture on screen and ask students to match the words with the animals. 2.Check the answers.Step6.Listening practice. 1.Play recording of three conversations. Have students listen carefully and check the animals they hear. 4.Check the answers, and lead students to read the conversations.Step7. 1C.1.Show some pictures on the screen, teach students how to describe animals using adjectives.2.Ask students to read these words, pay attention to their pronunciation.3.Match the new words with their Chinese meanings.Step8.Pairwork. Why do you want to see them?Because they are cute. 教学反思本节课我以动物为话题开展教学,通过带领学生观看功夫熊猫视频,然后通过问题引入本课,这一环节有助于吸引学生注意力,提高学生的学习兴趣,活跃了课堂气氛。然后展示一张张可爱的动物图片教授新单词,对于学生来说,动物有很大的吸引力,学生参与度很高,一张张可爱的图片给学生留下了深刻的印象,更利于学生掌握新单词。接下来我利用这些照片和材料,让学生进行了大量的口头和听力练习。在课堂上,我还设计了听叫声,辨别动物的小游戏,大大提高了学生的专注度和学习兴趣。最后通过小组对话的形式帮助学生巩固目标语言。本节课课堂跌宕起伏,
