After learning this unit, Ss can talk about future life and their comments on different things, and they can also talk about other dreams. Today, we are going to learn some writing skills, which is very important for English learners. 【Analysis of the students】Ss are from Grade Eight. And they can express their future jobs、homes、free time activities Whats more, Ss clearly have ideas for future lives. Today I will design several activities for the Ss in different levels to help them express their ideas better. I hope Ss will be confident and can express themselves actively.【Teaching objectives】Knowledge objectivesTalk about the future life in 20 years.Students can use simple future tense to make predictions.Words: will , want, wont, more, fewer, less, future, environment, polluted. Phrases: there will be, Id like to, as a., play a part, on weekends,Ability objectivesStudents are able to talk about future life in their own words.Students can develop their writing skills better.Cultural and Moral objectivesLet the students discuss the life in the future and then can make a good plan to make their life better and better. I would like to live in, because its a city.Collect Ss ideas to make up a complete passage.学生按照所给情景和参考句子,组编其内容,轮流用自己的话来展望自己20年后的生活。鼓励学生开口说,培养学生运用语言的能力。目标达成预测这一部分的设计在于激励学生大胆地表达自己的想法。与自己的组员一起讨论和表述,也降低了一些后进生的学习难度。Step FivePractice Writing TimeAsk the Ss to write a short passage quickly in class according to the writing skills they learned in this period.Give Ss 15 minutes to finish the task.Teacher should help someone if they meet any problem.收集学生的想法,总结在黑板上,学生在写作时可以参照,降低难度。同时,学生在写作时老师到处巡视,及时给学生帮助。目标达成预测在这个环节中,教师充当了引导者,主要是学生根据自己的学习情况独立完成各自的学习任务。鼓励学生积极展开想象,憧憬美好的未来。Step SixPractice 1.Show Time2.
