The students will be able to learn the words and phrases: grow up, computer programmer, cook, doctor, engineer, violinist,driver, pilot, pianist, scientist, be sure about, make sure 3. The students will be able to use the expressions: What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a basketball player. How are you going to do that? Im going to practice basketball every day. Ability aims:1. The students can use the questions to get information to improve their listening and speaking abilities. 2. To train the students cooperation with their partners.Emotional aims:To help the students to make their future plan and get them to know they should do lots of things to make their dreams come true.Teaching important and difficult points:A. Are you happy today? Im really happy that we can have a class here today. First, let us clap our hands loudly to welcome many teachers. 2. Enjoy a video T: Now, lets enjoy a video together then answer some questions.3.Enjoy a students talent show ,then have a free talk to lead in the topic.Step 2 Presentation 1. let Ss watch the screen and say the words 2. Ask Ss to write some of them on the Bb 3. Read the words.Step 3 Work on 1a. 1. Read the words. 2. Do you think these jobs are interesting? Which job do you think is the most interesting?Which job do you think is the least interesting? 3. Students answer. To be a computer programmer is the most interesting.To be a bus driver is the least interesting.Step 4 Memory challenge Let Ss watch the top 10 jobs quickly,then divide them into four groups to see which group to write and say these jobs quickly.Step 5 Play a guessing gameT:Its your show time to guess the jobs . I will show you some sentences,and you guess what the job is ,if you know the answer ,just stand up quickly to answer it. Step 6 Pair work.T: Now I want to know something about you ? of all the jobs,What do you want to be when you grow up? -What do you want to be when you grow up? -I want to be a/an T: Now its time for you to talk with your deskmates. One asks and one answers.Step 6 Work on 1b. 1. T: Since all of us have a dream job ,but how do you make your dream come true?now I need your help,I have some friends ,they are different,can you help me to find out what their dream jobs are and how they are going to do that? 2.
