Be + doing 现在进行时表将来 What are you doing for vacation? 你假期打算做什么? I am doing homework at home. 我准备在家做作业。 I am going fishing with my dad. 我打算和爸爸去钓鱼。2. 通过听,说,读等各项课堂活动,提高学生的听,写,记的能力,尤其是听力能力的提高。3.让学生能有效在课堂中掌握教学规定的单词。4.能运用所学的语言知识进行语言的运用。 难点To enable students to grasp the usage of the structure, be doing.教学过程Teaching Procedures (Allocation of Time) Step1:Pre-teaching (_5_mins)Warming up 1. 国庆节计划(。National Day is coming,由国庆节的假期计划,自然引入主题Unit3 What are you doing for vacation?开始进行重点句型引导.What are you doing for vacation?Whats she/he doing for vacation?He/She is going camping.I am visiting my grandma.Etc. 让学生通过不断的对话以及跟读,熟悉并能运用这些句型. Step2: While-teaching (_30_mins)Presentation/Drill/Practice Discuss in groups . 让学生以2-3人为一个小组,运用之前教授的be+v.ing现在进行时表将来的句型做对话练习。在进行完组内对话后,抽选几个组做对话表演,并提问其他学生: What is David/she/he going do for vacation? David/She/He is going camping/spending time with friends/playing football/going fishing/etc. 在学生反复问答中,即复习了基础知识,又加深对新知识的掌握。学生完成课本1a 进一步加深对这些活动的说法和写法。教师在学生积极表现时,要多倾听多鼓励。 Pair work: make dialogues我是小记者(情景)引导学生:Im a journalist from *TV .The National Day is coming. What are you doing for Vacation? When are you going ? Please make a survey.各小组成员拿着问卷调查去调查、访问其他的同学。小组选派代表在班上汇报采访结果 Group 1: We interviewed four people . Student A is going camping with her parents. Student B is visiting his grandmother.Student C spending time with his friends Group 2: We interviewed three people. Student D is relaxing at home. Student E is doing homework. Student F is watching TV. Etc. 教师给学生提供制作问卷调查表的时间和空间,学生积极参与调查访问实践活动,学生制作问卷调查的能力以及合作学习的能力得以培养。 让学生将所学知识脱口而出, 不但操练了句型和词汇, 也增加学生语言熟练程度, 同时浓厚了课堂气氛. Step3: Review(_5_mins) Summary:This class weve learnt some key vocabulary and done an oral practice. You learn to make plans for tomorrow. (the second period-section A 2d to grammar focus)教学目标Teaching objectives/aims 1. 语言知识目标Vocabulary and Structure:1) Vocabularies and expressing:Camping, babysit, sound, vacation, visit, plan, relax, go with 2) Key sentences:What are you doing for vacation?Im going camping.That sounds nice.Who are you going with?Im going with my sister.When are you/is he/are they going?Im/he is/they are going on Monday.教学辅助手段Teaching AidsBlackboard Chalk 教学重点与难点Difficulties and Key Points 1. Teaching important points: 1) 复习上节课所学的单词和句型,以及be doing 除表示正在进行时外还可以表示打算计划做某事。2)教会学生go with 表示与谁一起及由when 和who 引导的两个疑问句。3)教会学生主语的变化,谓语动词也要相应变化这样重点。Eg: Im-They are-She/He is 等。4)教会学生be doing 要表示将来的打算时,其后都是接将来的时间。如:next Monday.2. Teaching difficult points:a. be doing 表示正在进行时与将来打算的区别。 b. That sounds nice 一句中的sound与nice de 词性及整句话的结构。教学过程Teaching Procedures (Allocation of Time)Step1:Pre-teaching (_30_seconds)Greeting class(to attract the attention of the students,remind them class is begin)Step2: Leading-in (_1_mins) Last class, we have learned some important words and sentences of Unit 3, and I asked you to remember them after class, did you do that?Step3:复习单词及be doing 表将来的打算的讲解并练习句型( 12 minutes)Who can tell me what the two sentences are?What are you doing for vacation?Im going camping/babysitting my sister.You know, the weekend is coming; Im going shopping with my sister.(板书) How about you? (此时老师在教师来回走动询问学生周末的打算,并要描述和谁一起的,这就为后面who 的讲解做铺垫)这一环节需要反复训练,当前一位同学说完之后,老师接着叫另外的同学起来复述前一位同学的答案,这样注意到了人称的转换。Eg: T: What are you doing for vacation?S1: Im going camping with my brother.T: What is she doing for vacation?S2: She is going camping with my brother.Step4: Who 的教学( 5 minutes)刚刚老师在与同学们的对话中都有提到go with, 意思是与谁一起,来看这句话: Im going shopping with my sister.-对my sister提问。 Who are you going shopping with?Step5: When 的教学( 5 minutes)In order not to (为了不)miss the meeting time when we go shopping or do sth else with sb, we should keep the time that means make clear of time when we meet.因此当我们要对一个具体的时间提问或者是询问时间时用when.Im going shopping with my sister.When are you going?Im going at six o clock/net Saturday.Step6: read the conversation of 2c on page 14 and explain the sentence “That sounds nice”. ( 8 minutes)教师带学生读之后叫两个学生起来读对话I believe that most of you can understand the conversation, right?(看学生的表情来决定是否需要给学生翻译这个对话) In this conversation, you should pay special attention to the sentence “That sounds nice”.(板书)Step7: Pair work ( 8 minutes)Use “what” “ when” “who” to work with your desk mates and ask his or her vocational plan, you can rely on the contents on page 14 课后作业Assignment1. The third period of this unit.二、 目标语言1. Words and expressions babysit、Tibet、camp、hike、how long、postcard、sightseeing等。2. Key sentences Where are they going? How long are they staying?What is Dave doing for vacation?3. Teaching importance points a.教会学生询问对方暑假打算做什么。What are you doing for vacation? b.教会学生现在时表将来的表达方式。I am going to Tibet for a week. c.教会学生询问停留时间的表达方式。 How long are you staying?4. Teaching difficulties a.教会学生that sounds interesting“听起来很有趣”是主系表结构。“that”指示代词,指代上面“I am going to Tibet for a week.” “sounds”是半系动词,“interesting”形容词作表语。 b.教会学生show sb. sth.“把某样东西拿给某人看”句型的使用。Show me your photos when we get back to school. c.教会学生for后面要接段时间。I am going to Tibet for a week.5. Teaching proceduresStep 1 Greet the class as usual and check the homework.Step 2复习上一节课内容和所学句型 What are you doing for vocation? I am visiting my uncle.Whats he/she doing for vacation? She is going camping.When are you going? I am going on Monday.Then show the new words on the blackboard.Teach students the new words. Read the new words and ask students to repeat.Step 3 3aNow open your books and turn to page 15. Look at 3a first. Then ask students to look at the chart. There are two questions in the chart.Then read the two conversations on page and answer the questions. Where are they going? How long are they staying? 先给学生2分钟让他们自行阅读,回答方框里的问题,然后一边领着学生看课文,一边讲解对话中重难点,最后对照正确答案,请同学分组朗读对话。Step 4 3b PairworkAsk two students to read the example in the speech bubble.Sa: What is Dave doing for vacation? Sb: Hes going to his cousins house.Sa: How long is he staying? Sb: Hes staying for a week.请学生按照所给例子用方框左边给出的信息来互相做对话,不断操练此句型,使学生达到熟练掌握。Step 5 4 Vacation Dreams!There is a note about a dream vacation. Now Ill ask a student to read it to the class.S: Im going to Hawaii for vacation. Im going in December, and Im staying for three weeks.T: What is your dream vacation? Where are you going? When are you going, and how long are you staying?Step 6 SummaryThis class weve learnt key vocabulary and target language. And weve done listening, speaking, reading and writing practice.总结今天所学新句型和知识点,请同学们在课后复习巩固。重点句型:What are you doing for vacation? I am going to Tibet for a week.How long is she staying?Shes staying for four days.重点语法:that sounds interesting“听起来很有趣”是主系表结构。show sb. sth.“把某样东西拿给某人看”。for后面要接段时间。eg: I am staying there for three days.Step 7 HomeworkFinish off the exercises of workbook. Cope the new words each of twice; write a short passage about your dream vacation. Write what you are doing for vacation, when you are going, and how long you are staying. 教学反思:本节课的教学目标基本达到,重难点讲解基本到位,学生参与度较高,课堂气氛活跃。但不足之处是对学生的操练较少,应该在以后的教学中注重学生的听说读写综合能力的培养;采取灵活多变的教学方法;找出不足,查补缺漏;立足课本,夯实基础;模拟练习,综合提高,努力使学生英语水平上升到一个新的高度。The Forth Period教学目标:一语言知识目标:让学生熟悉以下短语:1. go camping / hiking / sightseeing / fishing / bike riding去野营/远足/观光/钓鱼/骑车旅行2. go away 离开,走开3. for vacation度假4. rent videos 租赁录像带5. vacation plans 假期计划6. take a long vacation 度一个长假7. think about 考虑8. decide on 决定9. get back回家;返回学生能够熟练运用以下句型 1. Whats sb. doing for vacation? 某人假期打算干什么?2. Who is sb going with? 某人要和谁一起去?3. How long is sb staying? 某人要呆多长时间?He / She is staying for. 他/她要呆4. Where is sb going for vacation? 某人要去哪儿度假?5. Can I ask you a few questions about.? 我能问你几个关于的问题吗?6. I hear that. 我听说7. I cant wait! 我等不及了!8. . is a good place to do sth. 是个做某事的好地方。二.语言技能目标1. 能听懂本单元学习活动中的问题,做出较得体的回答。2.掌握有关假期生活的动词且能熟练运用;掌握wh-特殊疑问句的运用。3.能运用所学词汇询问和表达未来打算,学会使用现在进行时态表示未来计划; 4.能围绕未来计划这一话题作较具体的描述。5.能读懂介绍未来打算的文章和日程安排。6.学会书写即将发生的假期安排或计划和科学安排自己的假期活动.教学重点与难点:重点是talk about future plans及本单元出现的词汇、句型和语法。主要句型如下:What are you doing for vacation? I am spending time with my friendsWhen are you going? Im going next week.How long are you staying?We are staying for two weeks.难点:1.如何培养学生根据阅读材料提高写作能力。2.本单元出现的be+doing均表示“打算做某事”,这与以前所学的现在进行时表“正在做某事”要学生注意通过上下文从意思上区分。教学过程:Step1 Lead inT: Are you happy? Im happy these days. Do you know why? Thats because of the festivals. You know we just spent Teachers Day and Middle Autumn Day several days ago, and next festival is coming. Whats it?Ss: National Day.T: Right. What are you doing for National Day?S1: Im going hiking with my parents.S2 设置此情景以复习:1.“去哪儿?”的问题 Where are you going? 2.“什么时候去?”的问题 Im going on Friday. 3.跟谁去?”的问题 Who are you going with? 4.“怎么去?”的问题 How are you going? 5.“去那儿都干什么?”的问题 What are you doi there? ng 6.“去那儿呆多久?“的问题 How long are you staying? 学生们会很自然的用一般将来时谈论自己的假期打算,既复习了上节课的内容,又为下面的课做好了铺垫 ,还锻炼了学生口头表达能力。反复与学生用本课句型进行交流,加强学生对本课内容的理解及运用。Step2 Ask some students to say the name of the five pictures in 1a.And ask students read the activities twice.这一环节让学生更加熟悉书上的这五个短语。Step3 Pairwork1. Group work. Make a survey in a group. 2. Show their conversationa 3. Ask a few students to show the survey results to the others.利用小组汇教学,做到词不离句。开展小组调查,汇报调查结果,使每个学生参与到活动中来,做到让课堂活起来,动起来。Step4. Pre-ListeningT: He Yu is a famous woman and now a reporter is interviewing her. Whats she doing for vacation?Task1: Listen to the tape and fill in the chart. Task2:After listening again write He Yus answer to the questions you checked.让学生带着任务去听,会更容易抓住听力材料中的重点。听完之后给学生讲解答案。Step5.Act the dialogue in pairs. One is a reporter, the other is He Yu .S1: Hello, He Yu .Can I ask you some questions about your vacation plans.S2: Yes.S1: What are you doing?这一环节是基于听、说训练之上,培养学生听说读写能力,巩固本课重点,强化目标语言,对教材进行重组,利于学生理解掌握课文内容和结构。补充材料:1. at home 在家 2. go sightseeing去观光旅行 3. take walks 去散步 4. go fishing去钓鱼 5. take a vacation 去度假 6. think about 考虑;思考 7. decide on 决定 8. how long多久 9. get back 回来 10. sports camp运动野营 11. go bike riding 骑自行车旅行 12. go camping 去野营 13. go hiking 去远足 14. the Great Wall 长城 15. have a good time 玩得很高兴,过得很愉快 16. Please turn to page 17 and look at 3a Ben Lamberts Vacation Plans!step 4、speaking and reading1、Ask students to identify the items and say something of the five pictures. eg, the name of the activity.2、Read the magazine article and give 3 minutes to have a quick reading.3、Tell students to write the number of each picture next to the correct activity and answer the following questions.Why does Ben Lambert choose Canada?During his vacation, what is he planing to do?4、Ask students to read the article carefully, then check the answers and explain them.5、Interpret the important words、expressions and sentences.6、Let the students read the article together and should be loudly.step 5、writing1、Look at 3b and ask students to go throught the whole passage and know the main idea.2、Discuss what kinds of words should be filled in the blanks in groups.3、Fill in the blanks.
