Mo Yan has won lots of important literature prizes. On October 11, 2012, he won the Nobel Prize in literature. He became the first Chinese to win his prize. Of course, all of us are proud of him. He is the hero in Chinese history. He shows Chinese cultures to the world. He is such a great writer that he makes more people interested in China and local customs. We should respect everyone who contributes his love to show the world Chinese traditions and cultures. Jiayang ZhengMo Yan was born in Shandong province on February 17th, 1955. He wrote many novels which showed local customs of China, Chinese characteristics and exploration for humanity. His novels were translated into many foreign languages and the movies that were based on his novels were welcomed not only by Chinese viewers but also foreign audience. His articles won many Chinese and international literature awards. Mo Yan won the Nobel Prize in literature in October 11th, 2012 and became the first Chinese citizen to win this prize. I think Mo Yan is a great writer who doesnt forget his Chinese roots. He is hard-working and brought honor to his motherland by winning the Nobel Prize. Runxuan YangChinese writer Mo Yan was born on 17th, February, 1955. Shandong province is his hometown, and it has inspired him a lot. Therefore many local customs are showed in Mo Yans novels. In spite of this, his books are also full of Chinese characteristics and always try to explore humanity. When I heard of this news, I was so excited that I almost bursted into tears of joy. I felt extremely proud of Mo Yan and our country. As a student that loves literature very much, I sincerely hope and believe this event will inspire more people in China to fall in love with literature. The significance of Mos winning the prize shows not only how it has brought China to the centre of the worlds attention and let them understand how outstanding Chinese can be, but in encouraging millions of other Chinese writers and scientists to strive for this goal. Zhijing WangMo Yan, the Chinese novelist from Shan Dong Province, had again amazed the nation by winning the Nobel Prize in Literature on October 11th.Mo was born in a small village on Feb. 17th, 1955 and has experienced and observed the life of Chinese peasants since his childhood.
