Though these kinds of characters indicate meanings, one of their shortcomings is that they do not show how they should be pronounced.(1)句法分析though 在句中引导_,意为_, that引导_, how 引导_。(2) indicate v. 显示;象征;表示;暗示indicate sth. to sb.向某人指出indicate that 表明/ 标示indicate wh- to do 表明/指出/标示e.g. 他给我指出我应该坐的地方。He indicated to me where to sit.Step5 Sentence structure1.Not all characters were developed from drawings of objects不是所有汉字都是从物体的图案发展来的当not与all, both, everyone, everything, everywhere, everyday 等连用时为部分否定, 意为”并不都.”(1). All that glitters is not gold.= Not all that glitters is gold. 闪光的并不都是金子.(2).
