八年级下Unit3 Could you please clean your room?教学设计肖家中心学校 教师:吴齐娜一、教材分析1、教学内容在本单元所处的位置本单元主题聚焦在家庭生活上,谈论家务琐事和家庭互助。家庭生活是学生生活的重要组成部分,对学生行为习惯的养成及责任感的建立起着重要的作用。因此,从话题角度上看,这一单元在本学期以及整个初中阶段的教学中具有特殊的地位和重要性。作为本单元的第一课时,主要任务是通过学生主动的学习和探究,掌握六个与家务劳动有关的短语,并能使用“Could you please do sth.?”这一句型有礼貌地提出请求。话题贴近学生生活,容易调动起学生的好奇心和求知欲,有利于引导他们自主学习。同时,潜移默化地对学生进行了礼仪教育和感恩教育,于教学之中体现了情感态度和德育目标SectionA (1a-1c)二、教学目标(Teaching Aims)1、语言知识目标 (Knowledge Aims)重点词汇(vocabulary):rubbish, fold ,sweep, floor, mess有用词组(phrases):take out the rubbish do the dishessweep the floor fold the clothes make the bedclean the living room重点句型(structure of sentence)-Mary, could you please sweep the floor?-Yes, sure.- Could you please do the dishes, Tom? Im going to clean the living room.- No problem.- Could I use the computer?- Sorry. Im going to work on it.- Could I watch TV?- Yes, you can. but first you have to finish your homework.三、语言能力目标(Ability aims)1. 学会如何做出礼貌且得体的请求;2、学会针对礼貌请求给予恰当应答;3、培养学生语言综合运用能力,本课时侧重听说技能的提高四、情感目标(Emotion aims)培养学生合作意识、劳动意识,帮助学生学会关心他人,感恩父母五、教学过程(Teaching process) Step 1 Warming-up1. Greetings. Good morning, boys and girls. Are you happy today? Lets listen to a music,Ok?(Play a music.)2. Ask students what do they usually do on weekends? I like watching TV, I listen to music.(设计这一环节引出本节课的主题)Step2 Presentation1. Wow,You are so free. Lets look “What kinds of chores does she usually do ? ( Maybe the teacher uses You parents are busy and tired. We could do something to help them.)2. Ask students: Do you do chores at home? What chores do you usually do on weekends or in your free time?Get lots of answers like cleaning the house, doing the dishes , washing clothes and so on.3.Teach new words and phrases by showing some pictures on the screen.Sweep the floor , take out of rubbish4. Practice in pairs.(Discuss1a)-Do you sweep the floor?-Yes, sure. I often do it on weekends. What about you?- I often help my mother do the dishes.Step 3 Presentation The teacher shows the picture on page17.1. Ask students what they can see?(Its dirty.) Point to the rubbish and ask the question:What do you think Peters mother can say to Peter?(Students answer):Peter, sweep the floor!Could you please sweep the floor,Peter?2.Then give the permission to the students. Yes, sure. No problem.If you cant, you can say Sorry, Im going to . Or I have to Practice with different students3. Finish 1b. ( The teacher may use some instructions. For example, lets check the answers together.)4.Finish 1c (Work in groups)Give a modal on screen.Step 4. practice in groupsA: Could you please clean the living the room, Tony?B: Yes, sure. Could you please do the dishes, Tom?C: Sorry, Im going to meet my friend later.B; Could you do the dishes, Linda?D. No problem.Then ask students to practice in groups of four. Invite several groups to show their conversations.Step5 Summary1.Today we have learned these phrases :do the dishes , take out the rubbis h ,fold your clothes , sweep the floor ,make your bed ,clean the living room2.Ask students to write them on the blackboard.Step6 Hom
