Unit 5 Why do you like pandas?第1课时教学分析本单元的主题是使用动词like询问对方为什么喜欢动物;用特殊疑问句询问问什么喜欢动物。七年级学生活泼好动,因此英语课堂得让学生活起来,动起来,在轻松的气氛下掌握所学的知识,学生有时怕说错,不敢开口讲英语,要鼓励学生:畏惧错误就是毁灭进步。活动设计要由易到难,帮助他们树立信心,提高兴趣,因为兴趣是最好的老师,良好的开端等于成功的一半,千方百计的为学生着想,就能很好的完成教学任务。本节课将采取新课程有效课堂教学中所提倡的学生自主学习探究模式,体现“问题呈现组织对话情景刺激有效指导全面评价”等五环节。其中,在情景刺激环节,要不断创新、创设情景,英语不同于自然科学,要注重听,说,读,写。那么教师要给学生创设一个生动,真实的情景,在那种能引起学生兴趣的语言环境中,才会激起学生学习的欲望,使学生投入到愉快的学习中。在教学评价环节,以鼓励、表扬为主,提高学生的积极性。总之,教师只是引导者,整节课要充分发挥学生的主体作用,充分调动学生的积极性去主动探究学习,重视“预习展示反馈”的学习过程,让学生成为学习的主人。教学目标知识目标:1.能掌握以下句型: What animals do you/does she/ does he like? Lets see the ? Why do you/does she/ does he want to see ? Because they are . 2.能掌握以下单词:tiger, elephant, panda, lion, koala, giraffe, cute, lazy, smart, beautiful, scary, kind, kind of, Australia, south, Africa, South Africa, pet, leg, cat, sleep等。能力目标: To observe and describe animals. To talk about their preferences To know the implied meaning of some animals情感目标:动物和人类都生活在同一地球上,动物是我们的朋友。我们人类应该与动物和谐相处,共同生存。我们应当学会关爱动物,保护动物。教学重点1. 学会描述动物的性格及特点。2. 学会表达喜欢某类动物及说明喜欢的原因。教学难点名词的复数形式表示一类事物;第三人称单数形式教学准备教师准备1. 准备录音机和磁带;2. 收集课文中所涉及的实物或图片或ppt呈现; 学生准备1. 学生自己画一些喜欢动物的图片,搜集一些动物的单词。2. 分出可数名词和不可数名词。教学步骤任务时间活动形式师生课堂活动设计意图Step 1 Warm-up(Lead-in)5分钟1. Free Talk 2. Pair work. Warming-up and lead in To create an English environment, the teacher shows the class some pictures of a zoo. And ask some questions about animals:Do you like to go to the zoo?Do you like animals?Then have them to recall the animals they had learned and write them on the blackboard as he/she can.( e.g. animalssheep, monkey, cat, dog, mouse, cow, duck )创设情景让学生复习和学习动物名词。Step 2Presentation问题呈现5分钟1a Individual Whole class1. Ask them to talk with their partners about the animals they like using the words they know (Four students a group).What animals do you like? Why do you likeBecause theyre 2. Then show the class some pictures of animals and present other animals. And ask them: Whats this in English? Its a tiger. (Then lion, panda, elephant, koala, giraffe) Ss look at the picture and try to remember the new words of the animals. 3. Next, glue the pictures on the blackboard and ask one student to match the pictures with the words on the cards. Other students turn to page 25 and finish 1a.4. Listening T: Listen to the tape and number the conversations1-3 Check the answers.T: Lets do pair work. Act 1b out. T: Do you like salad?S: No, I dont.T: But its good for you. Do you like bananas ?S: Yes, I do. 2. 处理1c. 让学生用实物和图片或ppt两人一组对话。T: Lets do 1c in pair work. Make your own conversations. Make a new one.让学生从听、模仿到独立对话再到自由运用Do you like句型和答语。Step 4 Practice more情景刺激 15分钟2a Individual2b Individual2c Whole class2d Group Work处理2a, 2b和2c.可以借助ppt。T: Look at 2a. Listen and circle the food you hearNow check the answers.T: Look at 2b. Listen again and fill in the blanks.T: Now 2c. Listen to me and give your own answers. 先同桌,后换前后俩人练习。处理2d.T: Lets come to 2d. Look at the picture. The three boys are Jack, Tom and Bill. They are talking about Johns birthday. Whats the Chinese for birthday?. 在情景中学习生词birthday, dinner, week, think about, sure等。学习运用背诵导图。T: Work in groups and role-play the conversation.进一步学习单词和句型,提高听、写、说和演的能力。学习运用背诵导图。Step 5 Guessing game5分钟T: Show some pictures on the big screen. Let Ss guess what animal it is. Ss try to guess and remember the names of the animals.让学生学会思考,自己根据记忆记单词。Step 6Listening拓展巩固全面评价8分钟1.Listening Work on 1b. Tell Ss to listen to the tape and check the animals they hear in 1a. Play the recording again and check the answers with the class.2. Work on 2a; T: Listen to the conversation carefully. Then write the names of the animals you hear on these lines.Play the recording the first time. Students only listen.Play the recording a second time. This time students write in the names of the animals.Check the answers.Point out the adjectives and countries listed on the right. Ask a student to say the words.Say, Now I will play the recording again. This time draw a line between each animal and the adjective and countries you hear.Play the recording and have students match each animal with an adjective and a country.Correct the answers.3. Work on 2b T: Listen again and complete the conversation with the words in 2a. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and write the answers.
