Lead in Enjoy a song and ask students what the song is about in order to lead out the word “weather” and the topic of this lesson. Step 2 Presentation1.Students learn new words about the weather by the pictures on ppt. rainy/raining windy cloudy sunny snowy/snowing2.Learn some signs about the weather.3.Present the sentence patterns about the weather:Hows the weather?(Whats the weather like?) Its .Step 3 Play a gameReview new words and new sentence patterns above by the guessing game.Step 4 Pair workLook at pictures on ppt to do pair work like this: Hows the weather? Its .Step5 Match the words with the pictures on studentsbook(1a).Do 1a and ask students for the answers.Step6 listening(1b). Listen and write these city names in the boxes above. First, learn these city names and then listen carefully.
