Go for it 七年级英语(下)Unit 7 Its raining. Section A (1a-2c)教学设计西安市第四十四中学 李爱琴一、教材分析 本节课是人教版七年级下册Unit 7 Hows the weather ? Section A第一课时的学习内容,该单元承接了Unit 6 现在进行时的用法,又加入了谈论天气状况的话题。本单元的中心话题是谈论天气,涉及两个主要语言功能项目:一是运用描述天气的形容词及“Hows the weather?/Whats the weather like?句型谈论天气状况;二是运用Unit 6所学的现在进行时来描述人们的即时活动。本节课属于本单元的第一课时,是一节听说课。通过学习学生能熟练运用描述天气的形容词及“Hows the weather?/Whats the weather like?句型谈论天气状况;能借助图片推测出相关信息并能够听懂有关“谈论天气”话题的谈话;能熟练运用现在进行时描述在不同的天气状况下,人们正在进行的不同活动。二、学情分析 大部分学生学习目标明确,学习态度端正,学习积极性高,有一定的理解能力和分析判断推理能力,但学习自主性不太强,基础较薄弱,通过一个学期的培养,大部分学生们已经养成了良好的学习习惯和行为习惯。本节课的话题内容与学生的实际生活联系紧密,学生们容易接受,并且本节教学课件生直观,教学活动丰富多彩,学生会有较高的学习兴趣和热情。三、教学准备1.有关询问和描述天气的动画歌曲 2. 图声俱全的下雨图片 3.丰富多彩的天气图片4.五大城市图片5.描述人物活动的即时图片6.天气预报地图 7.情感教育图片8.听力mp3 .9.课件ppt.四、教学目标 1. 能力目标(1)80%的学生能通过听录音、朗读,pair work以及各种形式的操练,会运用Hows the weather?/Whats the weather like?句型谈论天气状况,也能用现在进行时简单描述人们正在进行的活动。(2) 60%的学生能够通过听、说、读、练等活动范例引导,会简单地口头描述天气状况。2. 知识目标 (1)在听、读、练的基础上,掌握本课重点词汇:rain, rainy, wind, windy ,cloud ,cloudy, sun, sunny, snow, snowy,weather,cook。(2)通过听录音、朗读,pair work以及各种形式的操练,会询问和描述天气状况,也能用现在进行时简单描述人们正在进行的活动。Hows the weather?/Whats the weather like? Its sunny/cloudy/windy/snowy/ snowing /rainy /raining .Whats he /she doing ?He /She is watching T V.3. 情感态度目标 通过询问及描述天气状况,教育学生雾霾天气有害健康,我们应该从身边的小事做起,保护环境。4. 学习策略 初步了解听前预测的技巧,并在听的过程中学会抓关键词,做到有目的地获取有效信息。5. 文化意识了解世界各地不同天气及人们进行的不同活动,感受地域差异。五、教学重难点1. 教学重点: 能熟练运用描述天气的形容词及“Hows the weather?/Whats the weather like?句型谈论天气状况。2. 教学难点: 熟练运用现在进行时描述在不同的天气状况下,人们进行的不同的活动。六、教学过程Step 1 Lead-in A. Play the song about the weather for students to enjoy and answer the questions :Whats the song about ?Whats the name of the song ? (目的是激发学生的学习兴趣,并为新知识的学习做好准备。) B. Show a flashcard in which it is raining with the sounds of rain and thunder to lead to Unit7.(目的是提供真实的语言情境并导入新课)Step 2 Presentation A .Show different pictures about different weather ,ask and answer with the patterns (Whats this/ that? How is the weather?/Whats the weather like?)(目的是用真实的语言情境复习新词汇,并介绍询问和描述天气的句型。) B .Game Show the nouns about weather on a wheel,then ask students to say out each adjective of the noun about weather as soon as the wheel stops. (目的是强化训练天气的名词及其对应的形容词形式) C.“Im going to travel in the world. Can you guess where I am going ?” Show the pictures of Beijing ,Shanghai, Moscow, Boston and Toronto and introduce them (目的是让学生初步了解并感知这五大城市).Step 3 Listen and write “Im going to travel in these five cities ,so I need to know the weather about them ”Read the instruction in 1b and give the listening strategy (目的是掌握听力技巧,在听的过程中学会抓关键词,做到有目的地获取有效信息。),then play the conversations for students to listen and write the cities names in 1b .Step 4 Practice A .Pair work . Ask students to ask and answer about the weather in pairs according to the weather in the pictures in 1a and act them out in class(目的是训练运用描述天气的形容词及“Hows the weather in.?/Whats the weather like in .?Its sunny/cloudy/windy/snowy/ snowing /rainy /raining .句型询问和描述天气状况).B. Pattern chain. Students ask and answer about the weather in chains according to the pictures( 目的是训练和巩固询问和描述天气状况). C. Competition .Have a competition to choose the right the right answers to the questions :Hows the weather?/Whats the weather like? in groups according to the pictures(目的是强化训练询问和描述天气状况). D. Weather report. Ask students to discuss in groups about how to make the weather report according to the weather on the map and the examples first, then ask some students to make the weather report in front of the class. (目的是强化描述天气状况的语言综合表达能力).Step 5 Emotional education. Talk about the hazy weather in Xian with students and tell them to start protecting the environment from the little things around them(目的是培养学生的环境保护意识). Step 6 Chant A.“People like doing different things in different weather .For example ,I like traveling on sunny days ,but I often stay at home on rainy days. What about the other people ?Ask and answer with students using the patterns: Hows the weather ?Whats he /she doing ?What are they doing ?according to the pictures.(目的是复习和再显现在进行时,为2a和2b 的学习做好准备)? B. Show the chant about the present continuous tense and read it with students, clapping hands to the chant (目的是复习和强化现在进行时,为下个环节的学习做好准备。).Step 7 Listen number and match A. Listen and number Ask students to describe what the people are doing according to the pictures in 2a Then read the instruction in 2a and show the listening strategy(目的是掌握听力技巧,在听的过程中学会抓关键词,做到有目的地获取有效信息。).Play the conversation for students to listen and number the pictures . B. Prediction .Ask students to guess the relationship among the people in the pictures in 2a(初步了解听前预测的技巧).C. Listen and match. Read the instruction in 2b and give the listening strategy (目的是训练学生在听的过程中学会抓关键词,做到有目的地获取有效信息。), then play the conversation in for students to listen and match the pictures in 2b.Step 8 Practice Students talk about the weather and what the people are doing according to the picture ,then ask some to talk about the picture in front of the class. (目的是强化运用现在进行时描述人物活动的语言综合表达能力). Step 9 summary Ask some students to summarize what they have learned today.Step 10 Homework 1.Review the new words .(复习新单词)2.Write a weather report about some cities in China f
