He is heavy/thin .2.让学生把新单词与图画中的人物连接起来,可以重复使用,完成1a。3.请学生大声朗读1a图片中的对话,了解大意。4.听录音,根据录音内容,完成1a图片中的填空,找到Amy的朋友,集体核对答案。5.创设情境。教师可找一个同学对其描述,或者在黑板上画“简笔画”让同学们描绘。Step 3问题探究Language points1.Isheshortortall?他是矮还是高?（教材第49页）(1)tall形容词，意为“高的”，常用来形容人、树木或建筑物。e.g.: Yao Ming is very tall.姚明非常高。The old tree is very tall.这棵古树非常高。The tall building is in the center of the city.这幢高楼位于市中心。(2) 这是一个选择疑问句,这种句型结构很简单,就是先按一般疑问句结构写出,然后在其后加上“or+对等成分”即可。选择疑问句的回答不同于一般疑问句,不能用yes和no来回答,而必须选择选项进行回答。e.g.:Is she your friend or your sister?她是你朋友还是你姐姐？She is my friend.她是我朋友。2.Whatdoeshelooklike?他长得什么样?（教材第49页）What does /do+主语+look like?用来询问某人的外貌特征,意思是“长得什么样?”，用来询问人的外貌特征。常用“主语+be+描述特征的形容词”或“主语+have或has+名词”两种方式回答。e.g.:What does your mother look like？你妈妈长什么样？She is tall and thin. She has long hair.她又高又瘦，留着长发。3.Shes of medium height, and she has long straight hair.她中等身高，并且留着长直发。（教材第49页） (be) of medium height意为“中等身高”，描述某人具有中等身高时常用“sb. +be of medium height.”句型。 e.g.: The man is of medium height.那个男人中等身高。Exercise1、 根据句意及首字母完成单词。1.
