Unit 7 Its raining第一课时 Section A 1a 2d 一 教学目标(一)知识与技能:1. 学习常用天气词汇;2. 学会如何描述天气(二)过程与方法:以学生为主体,以任务、游戏、讲练为主线,采用多媒体课件,运用“高效课堂”模式进行教学。(三)情感态度与价值观:教育学生善于观察天气,善于调整自己的情绪;了解世界各地的天气情况,增加世界观念。知道大自然的力量是神奇而伟大的,我们应当好好学习,立志学好科学知识,为长大后探索神奇的大自然,打好基础。 二教学重点:.对天气提问的方式有两种: “ Hows the weather?” 和 “Whats the weatherlike?”三教学难点:1运用目标语言来对天气进行问答;2.学习进行时态时,应注意谓语部分应为“be + doing”。学生常忽略“be”或“doing”。四教学准备: 多媒体课件、录音机五教学过程 (一).温故互查一.写出下列单词的现在分词形式: 1.pay 2.turn 3.arrive 4.pass 5.sleep 6.give 7. sit 8.run 9.dance 10die 二写出下列名词的形容词形式rain_ wind_ cloud_ sun_ snow_三你能用英语写出下列句子吗?1.上海的天气怎么样? 多云的。 2.北京的天气怎么样? 晴朗的。 3.天气怎么样? (二).设问导读:. Warming-up and Lead in 1. Greet the Ss and check the homework. 2. Watch a video program about the weather. . Presentation 1. (Show some pictures of the weather) Let Ss look at the pictures and ask them how the weather is. Ss learn the new words and expressions with the help of the pictures. 2. Look at the pictures in 1a. Then read the new words on the right. Ask the Ss to match the words with pictures. 3. Check the answers. . Game (Hows the weather?)1. (Showing some pictures on the big screen.) Ask Ss Hows the weather?2. Ss guess and answer the question. . Listening 1. Now lets look at the city names in the box in 1b. Please read after me. Ss read the cities after the teacher. 2. Now, Well hear four conversations. Listen carefully, point out each city in the picture as it comes upon the tape. Play the recording a second time. Ask Ss to write the name of the city in the picture of its weather. 3. Check the answers. . Pair work 1. Tell the Ss: If you are in one of the places in the picture above. Talk about the weather with your friends in another city on the phone. 2. Make a model with a student like this:T: Hi! Hows the weather in Beijing?S1: Its sunny. 3. Ss work in pairs. Ask and answer about the weather in the cities. . Listening 1. Work on 2a. LetsseewhatJoesfamiliesaredoing.Pointtothe4pictures. 2.
