Go! Its green now.”2. Grasp the usage of Imperative sentences. Correctly use imperative sentences in daily life.3. Improve students listening and speaking ability by reading and practicing. Copy the model of traffic police directing traffic and ask the Ss “What am I?” (You are a policewoman.) Do you know what I mean? According to the actions, the Ss answer “Turn left. Turn right. Go straight on. Stop! ”In order to our safety, on the road we not only obey traffic polices order but also understand lots of traffic signs.2. This lesson well continue learning Imperative sentences by knowing traffic signs. Now please turn page 40 and look at Part 1.Disscus “Whats the meaning of each picture?” in fours. 3. Hold up cards. Have the Ss say the meaning of each card in Chinese.Write each sentence on the Bb.4. Teach new words and unfamiliar words to the Ss. Then have them read together.Step 3 Practice1. Practice in groups. (Give the cards to the Ss in the front row.)2. Have a competition in four groups. (Lets see which group is best.)Step 4 Listening practice1. Books open. Get the Ss to listen and point to the right picture.2. Listen and repeat. When listening to the sentence, the student owned the card holds it up, the others read aloud.Step 5 Consolidation1.
