Section A 1a1c.Teaching hour: One class hourTeaching PlanTeaching Aims:Knowledge objectives:1. Learn to use the new words: hallway; classroom; fight; dining hall; outside.2. Learn to use the target languages: Dont run in the hallways. Can we eat in school? We can eat in the dining hall, but we cant eat in the classrooms. Can you wear hats in school? Yes, we can. / No, we cant.Ability objectives:1. Listen to understand the listening materials 2. Make up conversations under the target languages3.Use the target language in real situations, such as competition, listing, sharing, group discussion, etc.Emotion objectives:1. Understand and thank for the teachers hard work for the students.2. Give the teachers some friendly suggestions.3. Show the equality between the students and teachers.Teaching main points:1 .Improve the students speaking and listening skills2. Master some phrases and sentence patterns.Teaching difficult points:1. Let students know how to use Imperative Sentences.2. Let students know the meaning of “must” and how to use it.Teaching methods:1. Question-and-answer activities.2. Individual , pair and group work to make every student work in class. Teaching Aids:A set of multi-media system, the tape recorder.Teaching Procedures:Step 1 Preview and presentationl Preview: Finish the tasks on the paper (the words, phrases and sentences).Then, check the answers in groups. Finally, the students write their answers on the blackboard to show.Step 2 lead in l Look at the picture of the book. Point the boy in the picture and ask:T:Whats the boy doing? S: Hes running.T: Where is he running? S: Hes running in the hallways.(教读)T:Can we run in the hallways? S: No, we cant. We cant run in the hallways.(板书,教读)Guide the students to see the other people in the picture, ask and answer like this.l Read the rules next to the picture and match, then check the answers.Step 3 School rulesl Students watch the picture carefully and answer “Are they good students?”“Do you want to be good students?”l Look another picture.T: This boy is sleeping. Can we sleep in class?S: No, we cant.T: So, I tell you “Dont sleep in class.”(板书,教读)l Look at other pictures, ask and answer like this.l Read the school rules by themselves and try to remember them.Step 4 Play a game.Do you remember these rules. Some students act, the other students tell them the school rules.Step5 Listeningl Listen and number.l Check the answers. T: Who is he/she?l Listen again. Try to fill in the blanks.l Lets say the school rules according to the pictures.l Listen for the third time. Read after the tape sentence by sentence.l Role-play the conversation in groups.l Some groups show.Step 6 Pair work.Tom is a new student.
