Its on April 4th.的学习。3. Lear and understand the relation and difference between cardinals and ordinals. 初步了解基数词和序数词的联系与区别。Teaching aids:Teaching PPTLearning steps(学习步骤):Step 1.Warm-up & Lead-in(温故知新、情境导入)1) Greetings: sing a song together.2) Free-talk & revision:Go over the old words: Monday,Wednesday,January, February, March, April, May,June,etc. T:What day is it today? Ss: Today is Friday/ .T: When is your birthday? Ss: Its in July.3)Guessing game: Easter (To lead-in.板书: the title “Unit 4 When is Easter?”并教读.)Step 2. Guidance & Interaction(导学互动)1)Another puzzle: April Fools Day.2) T: when is April Fools Day? Do you know? Ss: 4.1/ April first.Show PPT slides and introduce the new words:first(1st), then guide them to learn by the old: bird, girl,etc. T:First, first. Spell it please. S:Read after teacher and spell the word. (师板书 Its ot April 1st. first ) 3) Team work: Guide the students to learn in the groups. 4) 类似方法, 利用课件图文,创设情境(math test & sports meet)学习新词汇: second(2nd), third(3rd), fourth(4th), fifth(5th)。5) Lets chant. Make a chant and practice.Step 3. Consolidation and Summing-up(反馈总结)1) A game: quick response. Extension & Homework (拓展延伸)1) Ask and answer about the dates of the special days in pairs.(同样的方法巩固其它词汇, 并让学生明确在月份的第几日要用序数词,读时前面要加上定冠”the”,以及初步了解 “the”在句型中的用法,同时在某月某日前要用介词on)。2) Read and fill in the blanks. (first, second, third, fourth, fifth) Then read and check.Homework:1. Copy the words. 完成first(1st), fifth(5th)在四线三格上的写法。2. Search and know about more special days. 搜查了解有关(中西方)节日的信息。3. Read p39 twice and preview next period.Read and fill in the blanks.(可重复使用) in on at1. We will have an English party _ Friday.2. I get up _7 oclock every day.3. What do you have _ Tuesdays?4.
