Try to find out the words about the four seasons. Step2: PresentationPre-reading1. Free talk(Talk about two seasons)For example:T: Which season do you like best?Ss: Summer.T: Why?Ss: Because I can go swimming.T: Whats the weather like in summer?Ss: Its sunny and hot.2.Describe another two seasons and have Ss guess the seasons.For example:T: Its windy and warm. There are beautiful flowers and green trees .I can go on a picnic and fly kites.General reading1.Come and see Robins favorite season. Play the tape and have Ss listen with a questions.Q: Which season does Robin like?2.Check the answers. “Robin likes them all.”Detailed reading1. Show the four seasons to Ss, have Ss choose and learn the contents of four seasons one by one. Help Ss understand and know the climate characteristics of the four seasons. Raise several questions and have Ss answer. Then encourage Ss to read . a. Spring: Why does Robin like spring?b. Summer: Whats the weather like in summer? Can Robin swim?c.
