PEP Grade 5 Unit 2 My favourite season B Read and write一、学情分析:1. 五年级英语在小学英语教学中起着承上启下的作用,既是四年级的衍生又是六年级的铺垫。2. 学生经过两年多的英语学习,已经积累了一些小学阶段应该掌握的英语基础知识和语言运用能力。大部分孩子对对话、词汇运用的积极性比较高,对英语学习一直保持着浓厚的兴趣,已具备了用英语进行简单日常说话的能力,生活中也能灵活地运用日常用语进行交谈。3. 在本单元前五课时中,学生已经学习了表示季节的单词、日常活动的短语动词及如何询问并回答对季节的喜好、喜欢某个季节的理由,本课时重在复习、练习并检测重点内容。二、教学目标:1. 能够读懂对四季的描述以及机器人Robin对四季喜好和理由的表达。2. 能够理解短文内容,完成相应的听力、选择等练习。3. 能够转换人称复述短文内容。4. 能够联系生活实际创设情境,在实际生活场景中进行对话并表演出来。三、教学重难点:1. 重点:(1) 能读懂故事、理解故事内容并完成相关练习。(2) 能熟练地运用本单元所学词汇、句型进行交流。2. 难点:复述表演故事;在实际生活场景中运用语言进行交流。四、教学准备:1. Read and write听力材料。 2. 短文创编的听力材料和听力练习表格。3. PPT课件。 4. 图片、头饰、道具等。五、学习过程1. Warm-up(1) Free talk: Good morning! How are you today?Whats the weather like today? What season is it now?How many seasons are there in a year? What are they? Ss: Four. Spring, summer, fall / autumn and winter. (板书:对应的简笔画后面板书季节单词)(2) Sing a song: Summer, winter, spring and fall, spring and fall, spring and fall; Summer, winter, spring and fall, whats your favourite season?Ask & answer: Whats your favourite season? Why? Which season do you like best? Why?/ What can you do in?【设计意图:语言互动、活跃气氛、复习重点句型,进入英语学习环境。】2. Preview&Listening practice(1) T: Today we have six groups“spring, summer, autumn, winter, fall and season”. You can evaluate yourselves in groups. OK? Put the stickers on your paper, please!(评价方式:学生自评、小组互评)(2) Listening practice: Present a girl Sarah, do a listening practice about her. Listen and finish the form. Check the answer and retell the passage.听力材料T: Sarah is a lovely girl. She likes having a trip. In spring, she goes to Wuhan. There are beautiful flowers everywhere. In summer, she goes to Hainan. Its hot, hot, hot! She can go to the beach and swim in the sea. In autumn, she goes to Beijing . She can visit the Great Wall. In winter, she goes to Harbin. There is lots of snow. She can play in the snow and play with the ice, too! Why does Robin like spring? b. What cant he do?c. Why does he like winter?Answer the questions and write main sentences on the blackboard.(2)Practice: Read it by role.(模仿Robin的语音、语调) Pair work: Retell the story with your partner. (T: You can fill the words in the blanks or retell it by yourself.)Lets show.Role play: Group work “Make a new dialogue and act it out!”Act & others can evaluate the dialogue or give some suggestion.(表演、小组互评&纠错、自主评价)【设计意图:循序渐进,递进的方式由听音把握大意、听音找准重点句型、分角色阅读到复述短文、模仿创新对话表演,小组互评、自评等方式进行文本学习、输出。】4. ExtensionThe weather in other city or country:Kunming: Its known as “Spring City”.Hainan: Its usually sunny and hot. It seems like there is no winter in HainanAustralia: When its summer in China, its winter in Australia.T: If you want to have a trip to other city or country, you should know the weather first.5. Summary. 总结重点、展示小组互评结果。6. Homework.(1) Retell the story of Robin about seasons.
