Unit 3 My school calendarA Lets talk教学设计东胜区第六小学 王宏宇一、目标依据依据新课标,要求小学五年级学生能借助图片、图像、手势听懂简单的话语或录音材料;能听懂课堂活动中简单的提问;能听懂常用指令和要求并做出适当的反应;能在口头表达中做到发音清楚、语调基本达意;能按要求用简单的英语做游戏,能体会到英语学习的乐趣;在学习中集中注意力;敢于开口,表达中不怕出错误;积极参与各种课堂学习活动,积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。二、教材分析这是本单元的第一课时。Lets try为与本课主题相关的听力练习。Lets talk为交际对话,通过Mike和张鹏对校历上四、五月要举行的活动的讨论场景,来学习如何询问并回答某个活动在哪个季节(月份)举行。 三、学情分析在五年级下册Unit2中,学生已经学习过季节类单词,本节课将在此基础上学习如何询问并回答某个活动在哪个季节(月份)举行。四、教学目标1. 能听懂对话,能够用正确的语音、语调并按意群朗读对话,并能进行角色扮演。2. 能够在情景中运用句型When is ? Its in 询问并回答某个活动在哪个月举行。 3. 能够在语境中理解生词及词组a few, thing, sports meet, Easter, trip的意思,并能正确发音。五、教学重难点在情景中运用句型When is ? Its in 询问并回答某个活动在哪个月举行。 六、教学具体过程(一)Warm up1. Greetings2. Lets sing “Whats your favourite season?”(二)Free talkT:Whats your favourite season?S:I like spring best.T: Why?S: Because I go on a picnic.(三)Presentation and practice1.T: Yes. We have things in spring. We can go on a picnic, plant trees and so on. We have a few things in spring. Are they funny? We have a few fun things in spring. (带读) A few means some.过渡:We have a few things in spring. There are three months in spring. Spring is from March to May. March, April and May, they are all in spring.(适当带读)There are two special days in March.Guess! What are they?Tree Planting Day is in March. Womens Day is in March,too. T: When is Easter? (Who can answer?)S: Its in April.T: Do you know Easter?(学生朗读相关材料,师顺势拓展相关的复活节象征物,如Easter eggs,Easter bunny等)同上依次引出Mothers Day(并顺势让孩子们说说能为妈妈做的事情,如cook,clean the room等), May Day.过渡:We have a few fun things from March to May.进入文本:Zhang Peng and Mike also have a few fun things in spring. Look!What are they? They will have a sports meet,an Easter party and a school trip. They will have a sports meet next week. Who will go to the sports meet next week.?
