Unit 6 Im watching TVPeriod OneBy Hu Xiaoli 一、教学内容及学情分析:本堂课是关于初一下Unit 6 Im watching TV的第一个课时的内容,其课型是导入课。这个课时主要是关于现在进行时的一堂课,以谈论人们正在做的事为话题。在这一话题下,涉及到watch TV, clean, read a newspaper, talk on the phone, listen to a CD, use the computer, make soup, wash the dishes, exercise等词汇和短语。这是同学们第一次接触到现在进行时态,对于一部分基础好一点,小学有过拓展的同学来说,并不困难。而对于小学不重视英语的同学来说,如何在短短40分钟时间里,通过对教师设置的语境的理解以及在语境中对目标语言的练习,来掌握现在进行时态这一语法以及本话题下相关的词汇句型,则有些困难。 二、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能理解和运用下列单词和短语: read a newspaper, use the computer, make soup, wash the dishes, listen to a CD, watch TV, talk on the phone, clean2)能运用以下句型: What are you doing? Im watching TV. Whats he doing? Hes using the computer. What are they doing? Theyre listening to a CD. 2.能力目标:1)学生能够初步理解现在进行时态以及现在分词的变化规律。2)能运用所学的知识,描述人们正在干的事情。3)能听懂有关现在进行时的对话,并能从中提取信息和观点3. 情感态度价值观目标:通过对本课时的学习活动,能培养培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣,善于发现生活中正在发生的事情,积极思考,乐于助人,乐于参加各种活动的积极情感,培养学生团结合作的精神。4.学习策略目标:小组合作学习并在听力训练过程中,体验如何捕获信息。5.文化意识目标了解不同人的生活和学习习惯,并尊重他人习俗,和谐共处。三、教学重点:1) 能使用现在进行时态的一些表示具体动作的词组搭配,如: doing homework, using the computer, watching TV, 等2) 能运用现在进行时的各种句子进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作。:四、教学难点: 1)能够理解现在进行时中现在分词的结构及读音。2)能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。五、教学步骤:proceduresTeachers activitiesStudents activitiesStep 1: Greeting(分钟)Greet the students as usualGreet the teacher as usualStep 2: warming up and leading in(分钟)设计意图:。以一组图片配文字,输入现在进行时态的句子,让同学对进行时态的形式和用法有一个初步了解。 T1: First of all, let me show you some pictures and lets see what they are doing? 【PPT呈现一组图片,图片下方是用be doing描述图片动作的一句话,配上轻快的背景音乐】. T1: Whats this? Is it cute?Look! She is listening to the CD. 【PPT展示并教读】T3: Do you know this man?T4: What does he often do?T5: Of course! Because he is a basketball player. Yao Ming often plays basketball【配图】And look! Whats he doing now? 【配动图】Great! He is playing basketball now! 【PPT展示并教读】S1:Yes!Ss: Yes! He is Yao Ming.S1: He often plays basketball.S2: He is playing basketball.Step 3: (分钟)Presentation(设计意图:2、以图片的方式呈现本课时短语、词汇、句型。这个部分需突破分词的形式和读音以及句型。T1: Here are some activities. Can you tell me what they are doing? T4: what is she doing?【教师板书 cleaning、clean.着重教读现在分词的读法。呈现using、making、exercising时,注意呈现去e加ing的过程】T8: OK, lets read these phrases together.【教读完所有的短语后,学生跟读。】S1: Yeah.S2:She is cleaning. S4: She is cleaning./watching TV/using the computer/ washing the dishesStep 4:Practice(分钟)(设计意图:完成1a,检测是否每位同学都明白短语的意思,再通过What is he/she doing. He/She is的句型进行问答核对。) T1:Do you like these activities ?T2:There are many people in 1a. Lets see together. Please turn to Page 31, 1a(repeat). Match the activities with the pictures. T3:OK! Time is up! So we can see there are many people doing different things. But do you know where do they live?T2:Whats the meaning?. T3:Well, Whats the meaning of happy?T4: :Let me show another picture.(出示熟悉的爱情公寓的海报,让他们说汉语过渡到英语) Love Apartments.【教读短语Love Apartments】T5:Well, whats the meaning of Happy Apartments?T6:And Jenny, John, Dave and Mary are also living in Happy Apartments. Please listen to the tape and find out what they are doing. You can write the numbers from 1a.Before listening, Lets look at 1b, we know Jenny is a girl, John is a boy, and Dave and Mary are two people. Its your show time.I ll divide you into six groups. Six groups are six families.Maybe they are grandparents, parents sister(s) or son(s). Now its seven oclock in the evening, you and your family are busy doing something at your apartment .Make a sitcom. Finally ,each group will choose a reporter to introduce what your family are doingS1:Yeah!Ss: Make a sitcom and perform.Step 8Homework T1:Lets have a look at the homework.1.
