The teaching steps:Step1: Warming upGreeting to the students.Listen to the song of this unit: Animals, animals are everywhere.The purpose of this is to attract the students attention to the class quickly.Step2: RevisionReview the words about the adjective possessive pronouns and nominal possessive pronouns that have learned last lesson.Firstly show these words to the students and they say out them loudly.Secondly show the pictures that drawn by students(School Art Show) and ask students: “ Whose picture is it? ” And guide them to answer: “ Its . Its his/hers. ”Then show the pictures to students and ask: “ Which is .picture? ”The purpose of this is to review the adjective possessive pronouns and nominal possessive pronouns and prepare for next step-Lets try.Step3: PresentationLets tryAt first show the picture of this part and let students guess “ which is Johns picture? ” Then let students listen to the tape and tick the right answer. Later listen again and the teacher checks the answer with them.Lets talkShow the pictures of this part and ask some questions to the students:1. Who are they in the pictures?2. How many pictures can you see?3. Guess which picture is Chen Jies?4. Guess are these pictures all theirs?The students answer them according to the pictures.The purpose of this is to make students understand the dialogue easier.Learn the phrase “ picture of Beijing and picture of Shanghai ” according to show the picture of dog and picture of monkey.Listen to the dialogue and answer the questions: 1.Whose picture of Beijing is it?2.Whose picture of Shanghai is it?Students find out the answers by themselves according to the dialogue.The purpose of this is to practice the students ability of reading.Listen to the tape and read after it. At the same time the teacher asks the students to pa attention to the pronunciation and tone of each sentence. Then students read the dialogue together. Later read it in roles.The purpose of this is to practice the ability of reading.Challenge Students find the missing words that hide by the teacher in the dialogue. Then students read the dialogue together.
