A years plan starts with spring, lets have a group discussion about your new years resolution.Then I will ask students to work in groups of 4, and list what are they going to do in this year. I will tell them all of their resolutions are very interesting, and ask them look at the pictures in 1a and have a guess what the resolutions are in each picture, and put the right number in each blank. Then check the answers according to the following dialogues:-What is the boy going to do next year in this picture?-He is going to learn to play the piano.(2) Then ask students to change the address from “the boy” to “you”, and make the dialogue according to the 1b in pairs.
