Show some pictures about stories.2. Present new words.T: Do you like stories? Maybe youll know these western stories. T: Do you know some Chinese stories? Please look at these pictures, and speak out what stories they are?Students look at the pictures and speak out the names of the stories.引思:播放故事图片,引起学生的思考,调动学生兴趣,激发学生的好奇心,引入本单元的话题,导入新课。Step 3 Writing 1. Present 1a.2. Get students to match the stories with the pictures in 1a.1. Match the stories with the pictures.2. Take notes.引思:通过图片和故事名让学生熟悉四个神话故事,适时对所学词汇进行回忆以及进一步的巩固,为后面教学做铺垫。师生互动:教师提出问题,引导学生主动思考,通过图片带领学生进入教学过程。Step 4Listening 1 1. Listen to 1b and check the facts.2. Check the answers.3. Say out the name of the story. 1. Find out the facts of the story.2. Say out the name of the story together.引思:通过听故事第一遍,了解故事的前半部分发展情况,摘取细节信息,训练听力。Step 5 Speaking 1(TargetLanguages & discussion)1. Show the pictures and questions of the story. 2. Get students to discuss the questions with partners. Then learn some new words.3. Ask students to work in pairs and tell the story.1. Learn the target languages.2. Know the Chinese meaning of “earth ” and “stone”.3. Work with partners to talk about the questions.4. Speak out the answers.引思:在1b听一遍文章大意的基础上,再通过三个问题的合作讨论,让学生对故事情景加深理解,由易到难,层层推进,保证学生“说”的训练。主动探索:引导学生思考故事的发展情节,从而突出本课的重点句型,培养学生探究问题和自主解决问题的能力;学生通过互相合作、讨论完成问题,突出团结协作的精神。生生互动:小组之间讨论,培养学生开口说英语及互相协作的能力,不但促进了语言的运用,张扬了学生的个性,而且培养了学生语言实际应用的能力。Step 6 Listening 21. Show all of the pictures about the story and some key words.2. Lead students to retell the story first.3. Get students work in pairs and retell the story to each other. 4. Let some students complete the story.1. Follow the teacher and retell the story.2. Retell the story with partners.3. Complete the story.师生互动&生生互动:教师带领学生重述一遍故事;学生小组协作互相讲述故事。通过师生互动,使教师与学生的相处更加融洽;学生之间相互合作,增强学生团结协作的能力。主动探索:引导学生主动思考整个故事的发展过程,并运用英语语言讲述给其他人听,达到语言输出的目的,进而培养学生从说到练的能力,不断增强语言运用和表达的能力。Step 8 Speaking 3( Group work )1. Design an activity: Chinese Stories Conference2. Get students work in groups and discuss a story they will act.3. Encourage students to tell a story they know and act it out.4. Get students come to the blackboard and act the story out.5. Praise and comment the students show.1. Know the rules of the conference.2. Think about how to tell and show a story.3. Make sure the roles and act.4. Come to the blackboard and act.5. Say something about their classmates show.师生&生生互动:通过教师引导学生进入故事讲述和角色扮演,学生之间在合作互动中造就了和谐愉悦的课堂气氛,增加了师生、生生之间的了解,加深彼此的情感。主动探索:学生在教学活动中充当主要角色,能够更加轻松自如地学习。角色扮演为师生们在课堂活动中提供了情感交流的机会,发动学生为主体的角色扮演,学生对课文中的角色必然产生亲切感,主动要求参与,热情高涨,很自然地加深了内心体验;同时,再次增强学生说练语言的能力。Step 9 EmotionLead students to think : What can we learn from Yu Gong Moves a Mountain this story?1.
