Unit 6 Im watching TV.Section A 1 (1a-2c)一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词: newspaper, use, soup, wash, movie, just 能掌握以下句型: What are you doing? Im watching TV. Whats he doing? Hes using the computer. What are they doing? Theyre listening to a CD. This is Jenny. Its Laura here. 2) 能掌握语法:现在进行时态的用法。3) 能运用所学的知识,描述人们正在干的事情。2. 情感态度价值观目标:通过对本单元的学习活动,能培养培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣,善于发现生活中正在发生的事情,积极思考,乐于助人,乐于参加各种活动的积极情感,培养学生团结合作的精神。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 词汇、词组搭配和现在进行时的用法。能用现在进行时的各种形式进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作。2) 能掌握现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配,如: doing homework, using the computer, watching TV, eating dinner 等 2. 教学难点: 现在进行时中现在分词的结构及读音,能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。三、教学过程I. Presentation1. (Show some pictures on the screen and ask some students to perform the actions.) e.g. T: What are you doing? S: I am doing homework. (Help him/her to answer) T: What is he /she doing? Ss: He /she is doing homework. Teach: watching TV, cleaning, reading a newspaper, listening to a CD, talking on the phone.as the same way. 2. Work on 1a. Ss read the activities and look at the pictures. Then match the activities with pictures. 3. Check the answers with the Ss. II Guessing GameCan you act it out? Whats he/she doing? He/she is What are you doing? I amIII. Show time Emotion aim: It matters not what you want to do, but what you are doing! (你想做什么不重要,重要的是你正在做什么!) Present Progressive Tense 现在进行时 主语 be (is ,am ,are) v-ing 1. Ask the Ss to read the conversations in 1c with a partner. Then look at the pictures in 1a. And conversations about other person in the picture.2. Ss make conversations by themselves and practice the conversations. A: Whats /What are they doing? B: is/ They are.A: Hello, what are you going to do?B: I am going to do some shopping.A: What are you going to buy?B: I need the vegetables and fruits. So I will buy them in thesupermarket.A: Will you go there by bus or by taxi?B: By bus. Because it is not far away from here.A: Oh, that would be a good time for you!B: Thank you! Byebye!A: Bye!A:What day is it today?B:Its Thuesday.A:What class are they having?B:They are having English class.A:What time does the class begin?B:At ten oclock.A:What time is it over?B:At a quarter to eleven.A: Hello, what are you going to do?B: I am going to do some shopping.A: What are you going to buy?B: I need the vegetables and fruits. This is Jenny. 我是詹妮。 这是打电话用语。打电话介绍自己时用“This is”或“Its”; 询问对方用“Is that?”或“Whos that?”。 Translate the conversation.喂?我是鲍勃, 你是谁? _ Hello? This is Bob, whos that?你好, 鲍勃。我是迈克。 _ Hi, Bob. Its Mike here.2. Not much. (口语)没什么大事。也可说成Nothing much, 表示自己有空。 例如: A: What are you doing, Linda? 你在做什么事,琳达? B: _ Im just reading a book. Not (Nothing) much. 没什么事。我在读一本书。3. Do you want to join me for dinner? 你想和我一起吃饭吗? join somebody for something表示“与某人一起做某事; 参与或加入到某人的行列中一起做某事”。例如: 你来跟我们喝杯咖啡好吗?我们有事要跟你谈。_Would you come and join us for a cup of coffee? We need to talk to you. 4. Id love to. 我很乐意。 1) 交际用语,用于礼貌地接受他人邀请,还可以说成Id like to,但语气比较弱。例如:Would you like to come with us to the show? 你愿意跟我们一起去看表演吗? Thanks. _ Id like to. 谢谢,我愿意。2) 当委婉拒绝他人邀请时,多用Id love to, but.或Sorry, Im afraid
