Unit2 Ill help to clean up the city parksSection A 2a-2dAnalysis of the Teaching MaterialThe listening training is about how a group of students to plan a City Park Clean-up Day. After listening, It ask students to mast how to use the Phrasal Verb. The role-play is about the volunteer work in the old peoples home. Two good topics, and they are two good ways to do volunteer work.Teaching Goals.1.Knowledge objects(1)key vocabulary: notice lonely sign volunteer (2)phrases: clean up come up with put off hand out call up put up care for take care of look after used to make a planmake some plans alone by oneself(3)Grammar Phrasal Verb1.动词+副词这种类型的短语动词,若宾语为名词时,名词位于副词的后面或前面 皆可;如果所带宾语为代词时,宾语要位于副词的前面。 2.动词+介词这种类型的短语动词在词义上相当于一个及物动词,宾语总是位于介词的后面。2.Ability Goals.(1) Ask students enable to understand and use the phrasal verb.(2)Train students listening skills.(3) Train students role-play skills.3. Emotional Goals.The public environment is very important for us, we need to keep the public environment clean. And the old people who live by alone or live in the old peoples home is very lonely, we can chat with them and do some laundries for them ,make students understand helping others is helping ourselves and encourage them to take part in volunteer work as possible as they can. Key points of the lesson(1) Summerize the usege of Phrasal Verb.(2) Do the listening training.(3) Do the oral English training.Teaching and learning difficultiesHow to use the phrasal verb and the position of the phrasal verb.How to organize the role-play of the conversation(2d).Teaching ArrangementStep1. Greeting. Good morning boys and girls. How are you?Step2: Lead in Chat with students.1. Do you often clean your room?2. Have you ever clean the park?3. Look at the PPT , what are they doing now?The volunteers are helping to clean up the city park.4. Ask students:-What can we do on City Park Clean-Up Day?-We canStep3 Before listening1. Use the PPT to help students study the new important words or phrases. And read them for several times.2. Look at the pictures on 2a. Read the phrases on PPT. And then match them with the pictures. And ask students to write the words or phrases beside the pictures. TVadvertisement signs telephonecall up newspapermagazine notices Step4 Listening practice1. Playing the recording for the first time, and ask students to check the things they are going to do to tell people about it. If the students cant catch the answers , I will play the recording again. And finish 2a.2. After finish 2a, see the five sentences of 2b together, let the students understand what they need to listen, then play the recording twice and ask them to fill the blank of 2b, then check the answers together.3. Show the listening material on PPT, Ask students to watch them and listen the conversation.Step5 After listening 1. 2c Pairwork Ask students to make a conversation using the information in 2a and 2b. A: We need to come up with a plan for the City Park Clean-Up Day.B: Lets have lunch first.A: No, we need to start now. Clean-Up Day is only two weeks from now.2. Ask students to summarize the common things of the phrases, come up withput offput uphand outcall up. And give a simple explaination of “短语动词”(phrasal verbs).Step6 Role-play the conversation(2d).1. Ask students: Have you ever been in an old peoples home? To lead in the conversation.2. Ask students to read the conversation aloud first, then ask two students to read the conversation.3. Learn the conversation together.4. Ask students to role-play the conversation. And then ask some group to show in the class.Homework: (1). Write three conversations about your weekend plans. A: What will you plan to this weekend?B: Id like to help the old. What could I do?A: You could help them clean the rooms.(2). Finish the exercise on the paper.一、根据句意及提示写出单词。1.
