M5U1 He is playing the suona, but the phone rings.Teaching objectives(教学目标): Knowledge objectives(知识目标): play, third, time, bark, loudly.(新单词) Ability objectives(能力目标): the students could describe the situation that one thing is happening but suddenly another thing happens.(学生通过学习本单元能够用英语准确描述一件事情正在进行的同时另一件事突然发生了。) Emotional objectives(情感目标):the students could acquire the new knowledge in a happy atmosphere and enjoy learning English so as to have a solid foundation for their further English learning.(学生们能够在欢快的气氛中习得本单元所学知识,乐享英语,以便为下一步学习英语打下坚实基础。) Key points and difficult points(重难点): play, third, time, bark, loudly(新单词) describe the situation that one thing is happening but suddenly another thing happens. (描述一件事情正在进行的同时另一件事突然发生了) Teaching design(教学设计):Warm-up and lead-in(热身导入):T: Class begins! Good afternoon, boys and girls! First, lets enjoy a video. T: Look at the pictures, whats the weather like today? Who can tell me? S: Its raining. T: Great! Look at them. What are they doing? S: They are singing and they are dancing. T: Yes. They are having a party, so they are happy. But look at the dogs, are they happy? S: No. T:Great! Purpose(目的): Review the weather, the present progressive and lead in “but”.(复习天气,一般现在时,导入“but”) Presentation(新课呈现):T: Quickly look at the picture and find out what are they doing? One, two, three, go! S: They are playing basketball. T: Good! S: They are playing football. T: Look at this one, guess what is he doing. First, listen! So what is it doing? S: Its playing the flute. T:great! Purpose(目的): Making the different meanings and usages of play between “play football”, “play basketball” and “play the flute”.(区分踢足球、打篮球与吹笛子中的play的不同含义与用法。)T: Read the first part in the book and answer the questions.Check it together.T: And look at the picture. We know what is Daming doing now at his birthday party?S: He is playing the suona.T: Yes. Its an introduction about suona.T: At Damings birthday party, what is Daming doing now?S: He is playing the suona. T: Great! But what happens?S: The phone rings.T: Yes.T: Then Daming is playing the suona again. But, what happens again? Please read the next part in the book.T: What happens?S: The bell rings.T: Then, who comes in?S: More friends and Damings dog come in.T: Look at the words!( learning new words together according to the phonics.)T:Now read the third part. So Daming is playing the suona for the third time. But what happens this time?S: The dog starts to bark very loudly.
