In my opinion it s a rich and interesting book Each unit has one subject with vivid pictures clear and lively I think each chapter has five parts The 1st part is about the key structures and vocabulary In this part we can know the topic of this unit and also the key words Students can practice the target language with key words and be familiar with the target language The 2nd part is about reading The text is around the subject of this chapter Students can have a better understanding and become more familiar with the subject of this chapter during the reading It also gives some questions to help students to understand the text well The 3rd part is about the task activities It involves integrated structures and various skills prepare pupils for the task The 4th part s title is work it out Interesting activities are provided to develop pupils cognitive ability The last part the title is Language Fun As the name suggests students can enjoy the English through games songs poems chants and so on As all above I think it s a very good textbook I m sure it can help students to improve their English better and better Analysis of students Students in this class are naughty and less patient but very smart Most of them not work hard after school so that shows the importance of 40 minutes in class Due to the past term I found that they like to be active in class You give them more chance to attend they ll pay more attention in class and learn well They have better basically English skills For most of them they work hard both in class and at home So I will give them
