Do you like pears? Good morning, my dear judges. Today Im very glad to show my teaching plan here. The lesson Im going to talk about is part A, lets learn of unit 5, PEP Primary English book3. Ill explain the lesson from the following aspects: analysis of teaching material, analysis of students, teaching aims, key point and difficult point, teaching and learning methods, teaching aids, teaching procedures and blackboard design. Firstly, lets look at the analysis of teaching material. This lesson is chosen from PEP English book, the second semester of grade 3, Unit5. This unit is very interesting because there are many fruits in it. And this lesson is the first one of this unit. It mainly deals with some new words about fruits and the dialogue “ Do you like sth(about fruits)? Yes, I do./No, I dont.” Secondly, lets look at the analysis of students. Our students are Grade 3, they are naturally lively, curious, interested in new things and like to express themselves, but some students are easily distracted in class. So how to attract their attention, let them actively participate in class is the key to this lesson. After learning English for a year, they have some basic English background knowledge, so we should attach importance to the communication with them, provide them the chances of using language. Thirdly, lets talk about the teaching aims. Based on the idea of New Curriculum Standard in English class, my teaching aims are made up of following three parts:First, knowledge aim: students can tell the English name of some fruits, and they can use the sentences structure” do you like.? Yes, I do. No, I dont.” to express their favorite fruits.Second, ability aim: students can improve their speaking and listening abilities. And they could apply these abilities into their daily life. Third, emotion aim: students can improve their interest in learning English and understand fruit is very healthy to our body and foster the good habit of eating fruits every day. Next part, lets talk about the key point and difficult point. The key point of this lesson is making dialogues with those sentence structures and using them in proper environment. The difficult point is letting them realize that fruit is good to our health, and fostering this good habit. Then, I will show you my teaching and learning methods.Based on the psychoanalysis and students interests, In this lesson, I mainly use “Task-based teaching method”, “Communicative language teaching method” and “TPR teaching method”, and so on. I also arrange individual work, pair work and group work for Ss to practice. Next, Lets look at my teaching aids .Students prepare some English words about fruits they have learnt before class. Ill use Multimedia , flash cards as my teaching aids .Sixthly, Lets focus on the most important partthe teaching procedures and purposes of my designing. It can be divided into 5 steps: warm-up, presentation, practice, consolidate ,summary and homework. step 1 “Warm-up”.At the beginning of class, I will say hello to each students, and then I will invite them to sing a song “fruits”. And then I will tell them the theme of this lesson is about fruits.The purpose of singing a song is to attract students attention and make a relaxing atmosphere for students to concentrate on the English class. Step 2 “Presentation”.Today is my birthday. I want to hold a birthday party . I prepare some fruits for my friends. Lets look what fruit they are. Then I list the fruits and their plural form on PPT, teach students to read them one by one, pay attention on the pronunciation, make sure everyone can read them fluently. During this period, I express the fruit I like, in order to guide the students to state their likes. Then ask students to use the patternI liketo express. At the same time I will make some dialogues with students “ Do you like sth? Lead them answer -Yes, I do./ No, I dont.” Let them work in pairs to practice. The purpose of this step is that let students understand what the key point is quickly. And after they practice making several times, they can use the two structures in different situations without any thinking.Step 3 “Practice”.My birthday party is ready. Lets enjoy some pictures . The purpose of this part is that I want to tell them fruit is not only healthy but also beautiful and advise them to eat more fruits every day.There are so many fruits at my birthday party. Do you want to come to my party? But I have a requirement; you should help me do a survey. In this part , Ill divide students into groups, each group should finish a form like this . Then we can do some practice, like “ How many students like pears in your group? Two , three or four.” The purpose of this part is that it can develop students ability of communication and cooperation.Step 4 ConsolidateMy birthday party is starting. And I need some waiters help me to hand out the fruits. Ask students to make dialogues with the sentence structures.The purpose of this step is letting students consolidate new knowledge and expand application in our daily life.Step 5 Summary and HomeworkI think this step is very important and necessary. I will invite some students to make a summary about what we have learnt in this lesson according to the blackboard design, and homework: Ask students to draw their favorite fruits.The purpose of this step is summary. Its good for students to get the clear idea of the whole lesson . At last, let me talk about the blackboard design. I will design my blackboard as followings.
