Presentations: Today well learn unit3: Im more outgoing than my sister, section A(1a-1c).1. Then use the PPT to play several pictures,students describe peoples different traits and lead in comparative degrees.2. Students watch the original and comparative degrees of adjectives and adverbs, trying to summarize the change formulas.3. Teacher plays the change formulas and memorize them. Then students do some exercises using the change formulas.Check answers.4. Teacher explain comparative degrees.Step IV Activity 1a: Match the words with its opposite.Students do this activity.Check answers. Step V Activity 1b: Listening practice:Listen and number the twins. Before listening, let students see what are the twins doing and find the differences between them. Listen and check answers.Step VI Pair workMake conversations like 1c. OK.Now lets seetwopictures.Letsdopairwork:Describethepeopleinthepicturesabouttheirheight,buildandhair.Give students 3 minutes to prepare ,then invite some pairs to act.Step VII Doing a report:Describe differences between you and your deskmate and make a report.Step VIII PracticeStudents do some tests.
