Unit 9 My favorite subject is science (Section A 1a-2d)1、 本课学习内容概述本课主要是让学生就所喜欢的科目这一话题进行问答交流，正确表达自己的情感。并能听懂有关所喜欢的科目相关话题的听力材料，获得相关信息。2、 依据标准1、激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣，使学生树立自信心，养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略，发展自主学习的能力和合作精神；2、使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写技能，形成一定的综合语言运用能力；3、培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象能力和创新精神。三、教学目标1 知识目标：1) 能掌下列词汇：favorite, subject, P.E. science, music, math, Chinese, geography, history, why, because, Monday, Friday, Saturday 2) 能掌握以下句型： Whats your favorite subject? My favorite subject is science. Whats your favorite day? Its Monday. Why do you like P.E.? Because its fun. Hows your day? Its OK.2 能力目标：1) 能就所喜欢的科目这一话题进行问答交流，正确表达自己的情感。2）能听懂有关所喜欢的科目相关话题的听力材料，并获得相关信息。3 情感目标：此部分的学习内容贴近学生的学习生活，谈论的话题是喜欢的学科。通过互相询问和谈论彼此所喜欢的学科，可以增进同学之间的了解和友情并培养学生热爱学习、热爱科学的思想和良好的学习、生活习惯。二 教学重难点1. 教学重点： 1) 掌握学校科目的相关词汇及部分周几的表达方式。 2）What和Why引导的特殊疑问句的构成和使用。2. 教学难点：学习询问和谈论别人或自己喜好的学科并给出理由。4、 学情分析701班的学生整体上的英语基础不错，大多数学生对于英语的学习比较感兴趣，而且他们的竞争意识较强，所以在这节课的设计中，主要是通过分组竞赛，小组讨论，完成任务等活动来活跃课堂气氛，提高他们学习英语的兴趣与积极性。五，学生学习活动概述1、先让学生说出前一单元所学的有关表示颜色，月份，运动的单词，引入新内容即谈论所喜欢的学科。2、根据课件所展示，结合视频，让学生就所喜欢的科目这一话题进行问答交流，正确表达自己的情感。，3、结合听力内容进行问答操练。4、自己设计一个调查表，询问同学所喜欢的学科。5、让学生自己小结，并通过小组进行评价。 在完成任务的过程中，对学生的主动抢答、积极发言、答案的正确性、小组的讨论成果进行评价。让学生们对自己的表现及语言表达能力进行自我评价，在小组内评价，然后进行评出最优秀的小组。并鼓励学生们下一次争取做最优秀的小组及个人。六 教学过程一） Warming-up and revision 1. Greeting the Ss. 2. Lets review the months we have learned. (Ss recite the months together. January, February, March, AprilDecember) T: What month do you like? S1: February. S2: March 3. Lets review the colors we have learned. (Ss recite the colors together. red, yellow, b, blackpink)4. Lets review the sports we have learned( basketball , volleyball , soccer , tennis .ping-pong )二） Lead in 1 Lets review the school subjects we have learned.T: What subject do you like best? Or we can say Whats your favorite subject?. (Write the two sentences on the blackboard) Whats your favorite subject? My favorite subject is English. Ss read after the teacher and try to remember the conversation. 2. What other subjects do you like? Now lets learn other subjects. (Show the picture of Chinese book) Teach Ss Chinese, then teach Ss other subjects by showing pictures on the screen. (P.E., art, science, math, geography, history)3. Ss read all the subjects and try to remember them.4. Work on 1a. Look at the picture in 1a, match the words with the pictures. Then check the answers. 三） Listening （1b )1. Two students are talking about their favorite subjects. Listen to the recording and circle the subjects you hear in 1a.(Play the tape for the first time, Ss only listen. Ss read the four sentences, then listen to the recording and put them in order. 2. Check the answers with the class. 3. Now listen to the recording again. Match the subjects you hear with the descriptions. Ss listen and match. Then play the recording for the Ss to check the answers. 六）Pair work （Look and say ）Now look at the pictures , and make your own conversations with the subjects .S1: Whats your favorite subject? Because they are useful. 因为它们有用。4. because 用作连词，其后接从句，陈述原因或理由，用于回答why提出的问题。如： Why do you like P.E.? 你为什么喜欢体育?
