Encourage the students to protect the animals. Get students to know animals are our friends. Teaching processStep One :Warm up Lets do , sing a song “At the zoo.”(设计意图：1.用Lets do复习形容词big , small , long . short.并复习身体部位的单词，为本节课描述动物环节打基础。2.以课件中的动物，引出“At the zoo”这首歌，设置情境，带领学生一起去动物园看动物，进入本节新课内容。)Step Two: Presentation.1) Guessing game . Show parts of the animals ,get students to say It has a It has ,then guess What animal is it ?2) Read and act the dialogue.Get students to listen and read the dialogue .Then get students to act the dialogue, talk more about the elephant .(设计意图：1.在课件上显示动物的身体部位，让学生用It has / It has a 来描述。然后猜猜这是什么动物，猜错了没关系。主要是训练学生的表达能力。2.猜到大象这个动物时，将Lets talk 中的人物出现在图片中，让学生说说今天还有谁来到了动物园？让我们一起来听听他们在谈论什么？再让学生跟读，齐读对话，然后选两组同学上讲台表演对话，学生表演完对话后让其他学生描述文本中没有说到的大象的其他部位，目的是培养学生的观察力和对所学知识的运用能力。)Step Three: Practice 1). Get students to describe them ,use Look at the , It has a /It has . （设计意图：1. 让学生看图完成描述长颈鹿的句子，降低学生描述动物的难度，也是给学生一个描述动物的模板。2. 小组讨论，描述所给的动物。目的是培养学生的合作能力，及对本节课所学知识的综合运用能力。）Step Four : 情感教育 1）.Animals and people . 2). Some people hurt the animals . 3)Read the sentences.（设计意图：1. 让学生看一些人与动物和谐相处的图片，让学生懂得动物是人类的朋友，感受人与动物在一起是开心快乐的。2. 让学生看一些人类伤害动物的图片，教育学生我们应该保护动物，阻止伤害动物的行为，最后跟读情感句子。）Step Five : Homework 1).
