八年级英语(下)第3单元 第1课时Unit 3 Could you please clean your room?Section A 1a2d 一、【教材分析】21世纪教育网21本单元的话题是Chores,要求学生学会用Could you please .?和Could I please .?来委婉地提出请求或征求别人的许可以及如何有礼貌地拒绝别人并表达自己的理由,陈述自己的好恶。通过单元学习,学生还将了解中西方在这方面的文化差异,增强他们在日常生活中的沟通和交流能力,教育学生养成做家务、爱劳动的好习惯。二、【学情分析】21世纪教育网211我这个班学生程度不一,学生人数多,语言实践机会少,容易两极分化,通过小组合作学习的活动,可以带动学习英语有困难的学生。2本班学生活泼,好动,好胜心强,可塑性大,在教学过程中,注意设置情境,倡导其积极参与,引进小组竞争机制,更好地激发学生的学习兴趣,提高课堂效率。教学目标知识目标1. 学习并掌握下列单词:rubbish; fold; sweep(swept); floor; mess 2. 能正确使用以下常用表达:do the dishes; take out the rubbish; fold your clothes; sweep the floor; make your bed; clean the living room; get a ride; 3. 能熟练掌握并使用下列重点句式:1) Could you please sweep the floor? Yes, sure. 2) Can you do the dishes?3) Could you please do them? No problem.4) Im going to clean the living room.5) Could I use your computer? Sorry. Im going to work on it now.6) Could I watch TV? Yes, you can, but first you have to clean your room. 7) Could you please help out with a few things?8) Could I at least finish watching this show?9) Could you take out the rubbish, fold the clothes and do the dishes?能力目标通过听说训练,学会谈论如何征求许可以及如何进行礼貌地请求。情感目标通过本课的学习,能够谈论如何征求许可以及如何进行礼貌地请求的方式,学会关心社会,帮助他人。教学重点谈论如何征求许可以及如何进行礼貌地请求教学难点正确使用本课常用表达;听力训练。教学方法情景教学法;任务型教学法。三、【教学流程】环节师生活动活动目的I. Preparation 1)课前检查单词预习情况,教师根据学生读的状况,帮助学生正音。rubbish; fold; sweep(swept); floor; mess ,do the dishes; take out the rubbish; fold your clothes; sweep the floor; make your bed; clean the living room; get a ride; 2)检查前置作业(Read 1c)。Could you please sweep the floor? Yes, sure. Can you do the dishes? Well,Could you please do them? Im going to clean the living room. No problem. 通过提问,检查学生对课文的单词和对话预习情况。让学生养成自主学习的良好习惯。II.Presentation1.Leading-in.Show some pictures, check the new words and expressions about the chores:. Ask several to read in class.(by using PPT) do the dishes; take out the rubbish; fold your clothes; sweep the floor; make your bed; clean the living roomT: This class we talk about the chores. What chores do you know?2.竞赛游戏:小组讨论,一名代表回答,看那组的最多为胜者,给以鼓励加分。教师将所涉及到的短语展示在屏幕上,抽学生读两遍。如:do the dishes; take out the rubbish; fold your clothes; sweep the floor; make your bed; clean the living room; get a ride. 3.Make some conversations with the phrases above in groups.A: Can you do the dishes? B: Yes, I can .C: Could you please do the dishes? D: No,I cant.以这种句型练习多个短语,让学生体验情态动词can和could的用法区别。通过多媒体图片和竞赛游戏,从视觉、听觉、触觉等感官方面,让学生掌握新词和重点语句,加强对学生的口语训练。III. Practice 1. Mechanical Drills1) 1a First read and translate the phrases. Then work in pairs. Discuss with your partner. Do you _at home? Im going to clean the living room.B: No problem. 核对1a任务的答案,学生进行自我评价。这时,通过多种类型的口语体验和操练,使学生清楚本单元的语言目标:礼貌的请求和申请许可,并能较熟练的使用。IV.Listening & ConsolidationListening practice:1. 2aFirst get the students to look through the pictures and try to conjecture what theyll hear.Then get them to listen and check yes or no.Share their answers.2. 2bGive the students 20 seconds to prepare for listening.Listen again. Why does Peters father say “no”? Draw lines to the reasons in the chart in 2a. Share their answers. 3. 2c Practice the conversations using 2a and 2b. 4. 2d Role-play the conversation in groups.
