Lesson 5.Whens Your birthday? 教学设计密山市逸夫小学 李红梅教材分析:本课是围绕过母亲节,为母亲买礼物展开的会话,本课的教学对象是五年级的学生,考虑到学生已掌握了一定的英语学习方法,口语表达及听力都有显著的提高。所以本课教学以口语训练为主,培养学生良好的学习习惯为目的。在组织课堂教学时,我始终尽力使用英语,也鼓励学生大胆开口说英语。教学目标:1、能听懂会说belt suit shopping mall join 2、学会用英语说想买的东西。教学重难点:学会用英语说想买的东西。教学过程:(一) 组织教学(The organization of class) T: Good afternoon,boys and girls. Ss:Good afternoon, teacher. 课前小练,拼读单词。(二) 复习(Revsion) T: Lets review 12 months. Lets say January to December. T:Look at the screen, say quickly. (学生快速说出月份) T:My birthday is in October. Whens your birthday?(学生说出自己的生日)(三) 讲授新课( Teaching the New Lesson)1. T: This class, we will go on learning “lesson5. whens your birthday?”T: Can you tell me, whats the date today?S: Its November 23.T: Look, whats the date? (课件出示日期,学生练说。) Its March 8. ( Womans Day.) Its June 1. (Childrens Day.) Its September 1. (Teachers Day.) Its May 10.2. T: What day is it? Do you know?T: The first Sunday of May. The second Sunday of May.(课件演示)T:What day is it? Mothers Day. (learn to say)S: Mothers Day is on May 10.( ask and answer one by one.)T: What do you want to do?S: buy some presents for my mother.T: Who wants to buy some presents for your mother?S: I want to buy some presents for my mother.(学生自由说)T:What do you want to buy for your mother?S: I want to buy for my mother.(ask and answer in pairs)T: I want to buy for her. I want to buy her (同义句型) 学生练习替换3. T: Where are we going to buy? Learn “ shopping mall .(read one by one.) T: Lets go to the shopping mall. OK? T: lets go to the shopping mall. T: can you join us? Learn “ join” Can you join us? ( we- us) T: 你也可以像老师一样邀请两名同学一起去购物中心。T:Girls, lets go to the shopping mall.OK?T: Boys, can you join us?4.T: Now, we are in the shopping mall.(课件显示) T: Whats this ?:(Its a coat/ shirt/skirt/hat/ bag.) T:Lets practise.OK?点评:课前小练,是对知识的重现,对于高年级英语学习起到了一定的复习巩固作用,其重要性不容忽视。(二) 复习(Revsion) T: Lets review 12 months. Lets say January to December. T:Look at the screen, say quickly. Ss:Jamary, Febrary, March. (学生快速说出月份) T:My birthday is in October. Whens your birthday?S1: My birthday is in March.S2: My birthday is in May. (学生进行对话。)点评:复习月份是为新课的学习作以铺垫,本课的重点也是难点其中也包括会用英语准确说出日期,而以新颖的flash 形式呈现十二个月份,对于学生来说能更加深记忆。(三) 讲授新课( Teaching the New Lesson)1.This class, we will go on learning “lesson5. whens your birthday?”T: Can you tell me, whats the date today?S: Its November 23.T: Look, whats the date? (课件出示日期,学生练说。)Ss: Its March 8. T: What day is it? Ss: ( Womans Day.) Its June 1. (Childrens Day.) Its September 1. (Teachers Day.) Its May 10.T: What day is it? Do you know?T: The first Sunday of May. The second Sunday of May.(课件演示)T:What day is it? Mothers Day. (learn to say)T: Whens Mothers Day?S: Mothers Day is on May 10.( ask and answer one by one.)点评:用课件引出枯燥的提问,将节日提问更富有乐趣,提高学生学习英语的兴趣,进而引出本课的会话主题。2.T: What do you want to do?S: buy some presents for my mother.T: Who wants to buy some presents for your mother?S: I want to buy some presents for my mother.(学生自由说)T:What do you want to buy for your mother?S: I want to buy a bookfor my mother.(ask and answer in pairs)S:I want to buy a skirt for her. I want to buy her (同义句型) 学生练习替换点评:本节课是以母亲节为话题,创设这样一个情境,激起学生互相询问要买礼物的这一情境,让学生通过英语表达自己的想法,也是对学生进行的情感教育。将语言知识点通过课件替换形式呈现,让学生进一步理解人称代词主格与宾格的区别。3. T: Where are we going to buy? Learn “ shopping mall .(read one by one.) T: shopping mall, shopping mall. Ss: Shopping mall ,shopping mall. T: Lets go to the shopping mall. OK? T: lets go to the shopping mall. T: can you join us? Learn “ join” Ss: join, join. T:Can you join us? ( we- us) T: 你也可以像老师一样邀请两名同学一起去购物中心。S1: Lets go to the shopping mall. can you join us?S2: OK.T:Girls, lets go to the shopping mall.OK?T: Boys, can you join us?点评:教师大胆地将课堂变成了一个购物中心,让学生在熟知的购物中心中学习语言“Lets go to the shopping mall. Can you join us?”两个重点语言知识。在互相邀请中得以运用。在这一过程中,教师引入语言自然,学生习得语言轻松.4T: Now, we are in the shopping mall.(课件显示) T: Whats this ? S:Its a coat. S: Its a shirt/skirt/hat/ bag.) T: What are these? S: They are Pants/shoes/socks.) T: Look ,whats this? Do you know?(learn” belt suit”) T: What do you want to buy for your mother? S: I want to buy her a suit. S: I want to buy her a belt. T: I want to buy her a belt. We can also say: I want to buy a belt for her. T: Can you say like me?点评:“suit belt”这两个重点单词的引出,是通过购物中心商品一一呈现的,课件上一个个商品点击出现,配以声音,吸引了学生的注意力,教师在引出新词后, 通过不同形式的认读,让学生熟练掌握新词,同时将各种商品呈现,任由学生选择,进行句型操练,what do you want to buy for your mother? I want to buy her I want to buy .for her.可以说,每个语言点教师都放在情境中习得,效果好(四) 巩固练习( consolidation) Read and act.T: Who can come to act? Do the exercise. Fill in the blanks. Mothers Day is May 8. I want to buy her a belt.变同义句。 Can you join ?(我们)点评:夯实基础,及时巩固,根据学生的记忆规律和反复操练,通过习题形式,以比赛的形式,进行知识的再现,使学生学得好,记得牢。 总评:课标中指出“学生的发展的是英语课程的出发点和归宿,强调要关注每个学生的情感,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,帮助学生建立学习的成就感和自信心,使他们在学习过程中发展综合语言运用能力,增强实践能力,培养创新精神。”依据课标精神我们来看这节英语课,我认为这节课朴实、真实、扎实,是新课标下体现新理念的一节英语课,突出了李老师的教学风格:注重情境、扎实训练、省时高效。具体说,有以下特色:小
