New words: prefer lyrics Australian electronic 2. Important sentences: What kind of music do you like?I love music that/which I can sing along with.What kind of groups does XuFei like?He prefers groups that/which play quiet and slow songs.Teaching keys and difficulties:(重点难点)1. 用定语从句表达对音乐的喜好。2. 正确选择与使用定语从句的连接词。Learning situation analysis:(学情分析)定语从句是本单元的语法要点,是在1-8单元已经对该语法知识有所渗透的前提下安排的。本节课话题是让学生在体会不同类型音乐的同时,能用简单的定语从句表达对音乐的喜好,增强学生对复合句的理解和应用。Learning methods:(学习方法)1. 让学生认真学习目标,理解本节课要掌握内容。2. 学习1a,初步理解定语从句。3. 听录音,小组讨论完成1b。4. 再次听录音,小组讨论完成2a,2b,2c。5. 角色表演对话2d。6. 当堂训练,自我检测。Teaching course:(教学过程)Step1. Revision and lead in.Teacher: Whats the weather like today?Student1: Its sunny today.Teacher: What kind of weather do you like?Student2: I like sunny weather.Teacher:I like weather that is sunny,too.(老师板书,引出定语从句)Teacher: Do you like music?Students: Yes, we do.Teacher: Oh,me,too. I like music that I can dance to.(板书) What kind of music do you like? I like music _.Let students talk about music in pairs. Focus attention on the picture of 1a. Have students understand the instruction of 1a. Get students to complete the task on their own.(As students work, the teacher move around the room, answering any questions they may have.)Step2: 1b.Read the instructions to the class. Make sure students totally understand it.Play the recording twice. Students finish 1b.(小组活动讨论,老师核对答案,观看动画表演,进一步理解对话内容,学生示范操练对话)。Step3: Make conversations. (1c)Ask the students to make conversations. (As students work, move around the classroom offering help as needed).Step4:2aMake students understand the instruction of 2a. Play the recording twice,students finish 2a ,2b (小组活动讨论,老师核对答案,观看角色表演,进一步理解对话内容,学生示范操练对话)。Step5: Make conversations. (2c).Read the instructions to the class. Point to the sample conversation. Invite a pair of students to act it out to the class. (This activity provides oral practice using the target language.)Step6: Role-play the conversation.(2d)1.Show the background of the conversation:Jill and Scott are talking about their favorite music and movies.What are their opinions?Lets read the conversation in 2d. 2. have students read the conversation betweeen boys and girls .Then answer the above question. 3.Have students work in pairs.
