Mike moves over as if to make room for Tony. 麦克挪过去,好似要给Tony腾出空间。2. I must have forgotten to tell you. 我肯定没有告诉过你。3. It is your duty to bring them to him at once. 立刻拿纸给国王是你的责任。4. Servant bursts in, next to Queen, empty-handed and looking worried. 仆人冲上舞台,来到王后身边,两手空空,神色焦虑。5. King runs off stage as fast as possible, running into people and things on the way out. 国王尽快地跑离舞台,撞上路上的人和物。6. King moves around in chair, looking uncomfortable. 国王围着桌子打转,看似很不舒服。Part 2 Activity leading sheetLearning goals:In this part, youll perform one of the two short plays use what they have learnt to finish a project by working together learn how to cooperate as a team and how to fulfill each part of the task master some phrases and sentencesLearning process:Activity 1: In this unit, we have talked about Laugher/ stand-up/ performing and acting/ crosstalkActivity 2: Listening.Listen to the first play, and answer the questions:1. Is there a bench in the courtyard?2. What does the word “invisible” mean?3. Is this a comedy? Why or why not?4. In which style of stand-up is this play?Listen to the second play, and answer the questions:1. How many characters are there in the play?2. Who do you think is the main character/ hero in the play? 3. What does the King actually want?4. Why are the others unable to understand him?5. In what style of stand-up comedy is this play? 6. How does the playwright make the play funny?Activity 3: Discussion:If we want to put on this short play, what should we prepare?Activity4: Now its your turn to perform one of the two plays. These questions below will help you get organized.Planning & preparing Which play do you want to put on Who will play each character? Who will be the director? What kind of scenery will need? Who will make it? Will you need props? Who will find them? Will you need costumes? Who will make them? Where and how often will you practice?Activity5: Some important sentences.1. Mike moves over as if to make room for Tony.(P14, L9) 麦克挪过去,好似要给Tony腾出空间。 as if to do something 好像要做某事He stopped working, as if to say something. 他停下工作,似乎想说什么。 make room for 为腾出地方,其中room为不可数名词。Please move along and make room for the old man. 请挪一下,给这位老人让个地儿。拓展与延伸:(1) as if 从句的作用 引导_, 常与look , seem, feel, taste, smell, sound等系动词连用。 It seems as if our team is going to win. You look as if you didnt care 引导_,表示“事情是怎么做的”或“一个人或事物是什么样的”。 He talks about Rome as if he had been there before He opened his mouth as if he would say something (2) as if 还可用于省略句中,如果as if 引导的从句是“主语+系动词”结构,可省略主语和系动词,这样,as if 后就只剩下 She left the room hurriedly as if (she was)angry He acts as if (he were) a fool. Tom raised his hands as if (he was going) to say something. She bent down as if(she was)picking up something. The boy looks happy as if(he was)praised by his teacher.(3) as if用于陈述语气。当说话人认为所说情况是事实或很有可能发生的事情时,用于陈述语气。It looks as if/ as though it is going to rain.(4) 用于虚拟语气。如果认为所说情况不是事实或不可能发生,要用虚拟语气。判断条件从句的谓语时态对虚拟did (were) 一般过去时对虚拟had done 过去完成时对虚拟would /could / might do即时巩固:1. She loves the boy as if /though he_ (be) his mother.2. They talked as if/though they_ (be) friends for years. 3. He talked as if he_ (know) where she was.4.
