Unit 3 How do you get to school? (SectionA1a-2d)教案 泸州石油中学-梁雪一、教学内容分析本单元的话题是“Transportation”,通过单元学习,让学生学会“Talkabouthowtogettoplaces”理解并掌握如何用Howlongdoesittake?和Howdoyougettoschool?Howfarisit?句型的提问和回答,让学生学会谈论自己日常上学的经历,并且学会正确使用交通工具和数字的英文表达。同时培养学生的交通安全意识。 二、学情分析年龄在14-15岁的学生世界观正处于形成阶段,思维活跃,求知欲强,对外面的世界充满好奇,渴望了解周边的一切,经过一年多的英语学习,新鲜感减少,畏惧感增加,但学生已具有一定的英语综合能力,也积累了一定的英语词汇量,如相关的交通工具名称。 三、教学目标1知识目标: 1). 词汇:. 名词 train, bus, subway, ride, minute, kilometer. 动词 ride. 数词 sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety, hundred. 形容词far. 词组 take the subway, ride a bike, by bike, on foot2). 句型:-How do you get to school? -I ride a bike to school. / I get to school by bike. -How long does it take from your home to school? -It takes 20 minutes. -How far is it from your home to school? -Its about ten kilometers. 2能力目标: 通过听、说等活动培养良好的听力习惯和能力,学会谈论出行方式以及掌握How long, How far 引导的特殊疑问句及答语表达。3情感目标:让学生感受到他们学习英语是为了在现实生活进行交流,让他们感受到他们是英语学习活动中的主体和中心。四、教学重难点:1. 教学重点:. 乘坐交通工具的表示方法 . Students look at these pictures and learn the new words of different kinds of transportations.利用PPT中学生喜欢的图片导入,学生比较感兴趣,能够活跃课堂气氛。Step 2PresentationDisplay the new words of the different transportations using the mind-map. Students learn and summarize the new words of transportations according to the mind-map.利用思维导图引导学生学习归纳新的交通工具单词。Step3 1aFirst, ask students to read the phrases. Then, tell students to match the words with the pictures. Students read these words and match the words with the pictures. Then, report their answers together. 学生个人活动,完成1a并核对1a任务的答案,进行自我评价。Step 41bFirst, ask students to read the names in the chart. Then, tell students to listen and write the numbers next to the correct students in the picture. First, students read the names in the chart. Next, display some pictures and lead students to make some oral practice:-How does he/she get to school? -He/She gets to school by subway. First, students summarize the prepositional phrases according to the pictures: by bus/subway/train/bike/caron footThen, students learn the two similar ways of the target language:I take the bus to school.=I get to school by bus. Next, students make some oral practice according to the pictures given and pay attention to different subjects. -How does he/she get to school? -He/She gets to school by subway.利用PPT图片引导学生总结介词短语的表达,以及两种句型描述乘坐不同的交通工具,同时强调主语是第三人称单数时,问句与答语的变化。Step 8 2aFirst, tell students to listen and repeat the numbers in 2a.
