The free talk can not only review the last lesson but also prepare for the later writing.活动2【导入】Step2.LeadinActivit1 Marys trip to Yinpan VillageMary is a reporter from Shanghai and she is making a program about how do students go to school.She hears about that theres another way for students to get to school in Yinpan Village,Guizhou Province.To know more about the way, she has a long trip to get there.Before listening: Students look at four maps and and get familiar with five placesWhile Listening: students should catch the key words or phrases about the transportation.After Listening,try to answer the questionsQ1.How does Mary get to Yinpan village?Q2: How long it takes Mary to get there?Aim Mary a reporter who is making a program about how do students go to school is the main clue of the lesson.The activity is aimed to train the students listening skills like how to prepare for the listening and catching the key information while listening.Activity2: Why is Mary surprised?Students look at the photo taken by Mary in Yinpan Village, and discuss how can the students cross the river to school since there is a big river between the village and their school. Students think about ways for the local students to school.Can they go across the bridge?-No, there is no bridge. The villagers are too poor to build a bridgeCan they go to school by boat?-No, the river runs so quick.Aim students will learn the new words with the pictures that teacher draws on the blackboard. Its aimed to reduce the difficulty of later reading活动3【讲授】Reading Step3 Before Reading(Prediction)Students look at the picture and the title. Guess what the passage is about. Students will get the answer that the passage is about how the students go to school.Step4 Fast readingActivity 1. Scanning:How do the students in the village go to school?Students will scan the passage and find the answer: These students go on a ropeway to cross the river to school.Activity 2.
