Discuss the traditional food people eat on special holidays in China. What do you eat on New Years Day/Dragon Boat Festival Step 2. Reading: 1.ask the students to read the article and the pictures quickly. What kind of food are they making? On which special day do Americans eat turkey? Step3 1.Ask the students to read Paragragh1-2 carefully and answer the following questions: 1) Where do people celebrate Thanksgiving? ( within 4 words)2) When do people celebrate it? ( within 6 words)3) Why do people celebrate it? ( within 12 words)4) How do people celebrate it now? ( within 10 words)5) What is the main dish of the meal?
