湘少版四年级英语上册教案Unit3 Look at that elephant第一课时教学目标(Teaching aims)1,认知目标: 能听、说并认读单词:tiger, elephant, monkey.以及相关的形容词big , small, naughty, strong, beautiful 等; 会用简单的句子Look at.来描述动物的主要特征,2, 能力目标:培养学生听、说、认读和对话交际的能力,以及学生通过网络资源进行自主学习和小组协作学习的能力。3,情感目标:培养学生爱护动物、保护动物、保护环境的意识和互相帮助、互相学习的习惯。教学重点:(Teaching key point)能听懂会说新单词:elephant, monkey ,tiger ,big, small, strong, naught ,beautiful及句型: “look at that.” “its.” 教学难点:(Teaching difficulties)能拓展运用句型 “look at that.?” “its.”并参与游戏并交流。教学媒体:(Teaching aids)教学课件(ppt)、动物类单词卡片(或玩具)和图片、动物玩具及面具(每人至少一个)。教学环节:(Teaching steps)Step I: Warm up 1.Greetings. T: Hello, children! How are you? Im very happy. Because I can learn English with you today 2,Free talkingT: before this class, I have a question: “Have you ever went to the zoo?”Ss: yes!T: what can you see in the zoo?Ss: T: ok, today were going to unit 3“look at that elephant ” . firstly , I want to you enjoy the music.(showing the music “going to the zoo”)Step 2 Presentation and drill1. 利用动物头饰让学生感知动物的单词,用表情、体态等表现动物的特征。(A short conversation between the teacher and the students, such as)T (showing an elephant picture):Im Miss Elephant. Im big. Hello, boys and girls.Ss: Hello, Miss Elephant. (板书elephant)T:(showing a monkey picture)Im Miss Monkey. Im naughty. (边说边翻东西)I have long tail. Hello, boys and girls.Ss: Hello, Miss Monkey.(板书monkey)T(replace the monkey picture with a tiger picture):Who am I now?Ss: Youre a tiger.T: Yes, Im a tiger. Im strong. Hello, boys and girls.Ss: Hello, Miss Tiger.T: How are you?Ss: Fine, thank you. And you?T: Im fine, too.(板书tiger)2, showing the bird picture, asking a student acts as the bird and say hello to others3,Presentate the pictures of part A(利用ppt呈现)。T: Where are they?Ss: They are in the zoo.T: Lets go to the zoo and see the animals. OK?Ss: OK!T(不让学生靠近图片): Keep a bit far away from the animals. Its dangerous. Look at that the elephant. Is it big?(打手势)Ss: Yes.T: Look at its ears. Are they big?Ss: Yes.T: And its legs areSs: Big.T: Yes, the legs are big, too.(帮助学生回答。然后板书句型,带读。让学生们集体、分组、单个练读)。4、Using the same way to teach words : small, naughty, strong, beautiful5, Play a guessing game. T: I am an animal. I am white, I have two long ears, and my eye is red. Guess, what am I? Ss: You are a rabbit.T: I am yellow and black. I am strong. I have a long tail. And I have a big head.
