Knowledge:Words: before, dirty, kitchen, more, noisy, relax, read, terrible, feel, strict, bestrict with, remember, follow, follow the rules, luck Sentence structures: 1.Dont leave the dirty dishes in the kitchen. 2.I cant relax either. 3.I must read a book before I can watch TV. 2. Ability: Talk about the rules .二、学情分析:学生已学习并且初步掌握了规则的表达,能读懂一些英语的规则制度,能够用I have to/must,dont,you cant来表达和制定一些简单的规则,理解没有规矩不成方圆;无论是在学校时还是在家庭中以及以后走上社会都应当遵守规则,按规则办事。三、重点难点:1) 学习本课时出现的新词汇及表达方式。2) 通过进行阅读训练,培养学生阅读策略,让学生们能准确找出文章的关键信息。3) 通过进行阅读练习来进一步学习运用本课时的新语言知识。四、教学过程:Step 1:Lead-in1. T: Everybody may have something unhappy. When you are unhappy who do you like to talk to?S1: I like to talk to my aunt.S2: I like to talk to my best friend.S3: I like to talk to T: OK. When Im unhappy I like to talk to Dr. Know. Hes great and he knows everything. She can give you the best advice. Now, lets work on 2a and lets meet Dr. Know.Step 2: Presentation1. Show some pictures on the big screen. Teach Ss the new words and expressions. dirty, dishes, kitchen, noisy, relax, terrible, read, feel, strict, be strict with 2. Ss learn the new words and expressions and try to remember them.Step 3: Reading.1. Fast readingT: There are many rules in Mollys home and school. She feels unhappy. Read the letter and find the answer to this question:What does Molly feel about the rules?Ss read the letter and find the answer to this question.(she feels terrible.) 2. Careful reading 1) Read the letter again and underline the rules for Molly. 2) Ss read the letter and try to find the rules for Molly and underline them. 3) Check the answers with the class. (Let some Ss read their answers aloud. Let other Ss add some rules. ) 3. Careful reading 1) Read Dr. Knows letter and answer this question: What does she think of the school and home rules? 2) Ss read Dr Knows letter and find the answer to this question. 3) Let one student read out his/her answer. (She thinks parents and schools are sometimes strict, but they make rules to help us. We have to follow them. )Step 4: 2c1. Work on 2c. Read the letter again and complete the sentences with have to/ must, can or cant. 1. Molly _ play basketball on school days, but she _ play it on weekends.2.
