Show the pictures about Lu Yi and Zhang Ziyi when they are young on the screen.Ask students to guess who they are.Students look at the pictures and guess who they are.Attract students attention and interest.2.Show the students pictures about the two actors when they are old enough and ask students to guess again.Understand that teacher asks them to compare peoples changes.Its a lead-in and preparation for the new lesson.Step II Presentation1. Ask students how we describe peoples appearance. Show pictures about peoples appearance. Lead students to talk about their own appearance and their classmates appearance.Review how to describe peoples appearance. Describe their own appearance and their classmates appearance by using the sentence patterns, I/He am/is tall/short/of medium height.I/He am/is heavy/thin/of medium build.I/He have/has long/short straight/curly blonde/black hair.I/He wear(s) glasses.Review how to describe peoples appearance by sentence patterns.2. Ask students how we describe peoples personality and hobbies. Show pictures about peoples personality and hobbies. Lead students to talk about their own personality and hobbies and their classmates personality and hobbies.Review how to describe peoples personality and hobbies. Describe their own personality and hobbies and their classmates personality and hobbies by using the words,friendly,outgoing,serious,humorous,silent,active,brave,quiet,helpful.and the sentence patterns, like doing sth.Review how to describe peoples personality and hobbies by the description words and the sentence patterns.3. Compare some pictures about peoples appearancepersonality and hobbies.Have students talk about what they used to be like and what they are like now.Describe peoples changes by using “ I used/didnt use to have/be/do. But now I have/am/do.”“He/She used/didnt use to have/be/do. But now He/She has/is/does.”“Did you use to .? Yes, I did./No, I didnt.Learn how to express peoples changes according to the sentence patterns.4. Teacher will say”Bob hasnt seen his frieds for a long time. What did they use to look like?”Ask students to listen to 1b. Check the answers.T: Some children are having a party. Two of them are talking. He/she has. am/is. do/does.Reflection 2015评优课反思本节课是九年级Unit 4. I used to be afraid of the dark. (第一课时),教学目标是能够使用used to 的陈述句,否定句,一般疑问句来描述人的外貌和个性。本节课在初三12班进行,12班学生英语基础弱,思辨能力弱但情商极高。考虑到学生之前对描述人物外貌的语句和句型遗忘较多,因此花了大量时间复习巩固原来的句型。进而学生才能顺利进入新知识的学习。下面,我就本节课的优缺点进行个人反思。 我觉得做的好的方面:1.图片导入,能够吸引学生兴趣,直接引入人物描述的主题。2.注重纠正学生的单词发音!3.听前预测和指导能够有效帮助学生理解材料,让听力内容变得简单,学生能轻松获取答 案。4.学生积极性调动的较好。学生积极参与课堂活动,运用所学介绍自己和朋友的 外貌,性格和爱好!几乎整个班级的学生都被调动起来回答问题,表述想法。5.注重学生个体差异,老师的提问具有层次性。6.注重课堂上的师生互动,关注学生个人情感,尊重学生的思想。7.课堂指令用语简洁,明晰!课程环节紧凑,步骤清晰明了。8.情感态度价值观渗透自如,能够积极地影响学生。9.学生自备照片表达自己的变化,参与性强,更能激发学生的主观能动性。 不足之处:1.导入略显生涩,有效果,但略显陈旧和笨拙。现在想想,如果拿自己的变化或
