Section B 2a-2b 教学设计1.教学背景分析教学内容分析: 本课时的核心话题是谈论人物的外表形象,教材内容围绕着描述任务的外貌特征展开,让学生学会谈论人的身高、体重、发型、面部特征以及着装特点。能概括人物的外貌特征并区别人物和推断出某一人物。通过描述他人或自己的外貌,简单地表达自己的观点和好恶,学会交换不同的看法。学生情况分析:学生在七年级上册已经学过关于服饰的表达,为本单元中人物着装特点的介绍作了铺垫。本单元的话题谈论人物的外貌是人们日常生活中常遇的话题,而且服装设计部分非常有趣,故学生喜于用英语表达此类知识。此课时是Section B部分,学生通过Section A的学习,已初步了解对于人物外貌的表达,在此课时中,将进一步学习运用这些知识比较两种外貌之间的区别。2.教学目标分析1. 语言知识目标:(1) 掌握与描述人物外貌的相关词汇,如glasses, wear, look.(2)掌握描述人物外貌的句型:- What does he/she look like? - Hes/ Shes tall/short He / She wears glasses. He / She has straight hair 2. 语言技能目标:(1)能在阅读中抓住主要信息和细节。(2)能抓住人物的主要特征来描述人物的外貌并区别人物和推断出某一人物。(3)能替自己和他人进行新形象设计,能和合作伙伴互相交流,充分交换信息、交流思想。3. 情感态度目标:(1)通过描述人物的外貌,简单地表达自己的观点或好恶,学会交换不同的看法,使学生在人际交往中学会尊重和理解别人。(2)培养和树立正确的审美观。(3)在合作学习中学会与他人合作,加强团队合作意识,共同完成学习任务,享受学习的乐趣。3. 教学重点、难点分析 教学重点:(1) 掌握本课出现的新单词和句型。(2) 正确优美的语音语调(3) 掌握描述人物外貌的方法并能进行简单的比较,运用于生活中。 教学难点:描述人物外貌的比较4.教学过程设计Before class Let the Ss sing an English songs-What do you want to be?一、 GreetingsGreet the class as usual.二、 Revision1. phrases: straight hair, curly hair, really tall, really thin, be of medium height, be of medium build, wear glasses, a big nose, a small mouth, a around face, big eyes2. drills: Is that your friend?What does he look like?Tom is of medium build.Mary is of medium height.Is he short or tall?She has long straight hair.He has short hair.I may be a little late.See you (later) then.My sister is a movie actress.Ask SS to translate them and read them.三、 Warming-upComplete the chart(2a) with words of the opposite meaning.
