Teaching Aims: 1. 能说出、写出 P44页的单词和相关词组。2. 重点掌握以下句型: -what are you going to do next year? -Im going to take guitar lessons. -How are you going to do that? -Im going to study hard and get good grades.3.运用1c,1d 听力材料,训练听力。4.能用英语谈论自己的新年计划。二. Main & Difficult Points: 1) Ss can read and remember the new words2)Practice the listening skill 3) Talk about the New Years resolution in English.三. Teaching procedures:Step1. Warming- up and revision1.Greeting. 2.Listen a song and talk about the jobs.3. 头脑风暴: 说出表示的职业名词 teacher, nurse, doctor, actor, actress, runner, basketball player,pilot, waiter, computer programmer, pianist, scientist, violinist 4. Talk about the future intentions with their partner and practice their conversation.Step2. Presentation1. lead in : Ask the Ss a question “Do they have any New Years Resolutions” and then let them try to talk about their think of other resolutions. 2. Present some other New Years Resolutions on the big screen and ask Ss practice the sentences:A:-What are you going to do next year?B:-Im going to 3.1a Match the pictures with the New Years resolutions. Step3.Talking 1. Tell your partners your New Years Resolutions. 2. S1:Im going to get lots of exercise. Im going to make a basketball team. S2:Im going to learn another foreign language. Im going to learn French. Let Ss say as many resolutions as they can and practice their conversations with their partner.Step4 . Listening Work on 1c:1. Ask the Ss talk about the picture in 1c and answer my questions.2.Tell Ss to read the resolutions in 1a. Tell Ss to listen and circle the resolutions they hear. 3. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and circle then check the answers.4.Work on 1d: Tell Ss Lucy, Kim and Mike are talking about their New Years Resolutions. Listen again. Match how the people are going to make their resolutions work and check their answers.Step5. Group work 1. Work in groups. Make a list of resolutions and how you are going to make them work. Then discuss with your group. 2. Ask some p
