But what / how about .?If I have a choice Id choose . because . 2、 在大致了解农业发展的基础上，通读A pioneer for all people 这段材料，并进行全面整体理解，引发思考，达到强化语言意识、积累语言经验的目的。3、学会用英语制作海报和广告，从而提高英语写作能力。2. 语言知识1、 了解现代农业的概况。2、 学习本单元新出现的28个单词（hunger sunburn sunburnt struggle super output expand circulate satisfied equip freedomviolin motorcycle grain export suitable chemical confuse mineral reduce supply bacteriapest level whatever summary exchange nutrition certain）及5条短语（rid .of be satisfied withlead a . lifewould ratherrefer to）。3、 学习动词-ing形式作主语和宾语时的结构和用法3. 情感态度了解农民的生活，尊重农民的劳动。学会辨别有害食品与绿色食品。关注新农村建设。4. 文化意识了解我国作为农业大国的发展史，对现代农业进行思考。了解世界上其他农业国家的情况、人们对待农业的态度以及我国主要农产品进出口的情况。教材分析1. 本课文在教材中地位和作用 本单元的中心话题是“农业”。内容涉及我国著名的杂交水稻专家袁隆平的贡献，化肥对土地耕种的影响以及开展有机生态耕种等。本单元的语言知识和语言技能都是围绕这一主题设计展开的。本课阅读课“A Pioneer For All People”是核心部分。可以让学生更多地了解著名杂交水稻专家袁隆平的贡献和高贵品质。2. 教学内容 本节阅读课是说，读，写的综合训练课。课文介绍中国著名的农业科学家袁隆平和他的巨大贡献。 全文分四段。 第一段讲袁隆平作为科学家，研制出了 超级杂交水稻， 但他却一致认为自己就是一个农民。 第二段讲袁隆平的家庭背景，学业，以及他的科研情况。 第三段讲袁隆平淡泊名利， 无私奉献的高尚品质。他过着普通人的生活却将大部分积蓄用于科研。 第四段讲袁隆平的工作理想和目标，以及他热爱人民和为人民不断进取的精神。 本节课是本单元的第一课时。导入新课就显得尤为重要。它为学好本单元奠定了基础。为此，针对我校学生学习实际，我对教材内容进行了重组，使之更适合我们的学生。首先，通过展示新闻图片，让学生明了世界部分地区所面临的饥饿问题，由此激发学生对世界的关注，培养学生的同情心。在此基础上，提出粮食问题，讨论大米在东亚和东南亚国家人民生活中的重要性。很自然的引出袁隆平这位杂交水稻之父，激发学生学习的热情和积极性，帮助他们更深刻地理解农业科学家袁隆平的科学研究的价值。3. 教学目标 知识目标：确切理解课文内容并掌握一些词汇及短语，如struggle, expand, rid.of., would rather 等。 能力目标： 通过阅读课文提高学生的阅读能力，以及分析归纳课文的能力。 德育目标： 通过本科文对主人公袁隆平多方面的介绍，来提高学生对这位伟大的农业科学家的认识， 从而使学生得到人生观和世界观的教育。4. 教学重难点 教学重点： 1. 学生能够熟练运用本单元重点词汇，了解农业相关词语。 2. 指导学生由浅入深地阅读并确切理解课文。 教学难点： 学生要用已学的知识理解并解释课文中的句子。 PRE-READING 部分有两组问题。在第一组问题中，讨论大米在东亚和东南亚国家人民生活中的重要性；而第二组问题则提出世界部分地区所面临的饥饿问题。由此激发学生对世界的关注，培养学生的同情心。READING 部分介绍中国著名的农业科学家袁隆平的生平和他的杂交水稻。第一段描述了袁博士的外表他更象一个农民而不象一个科学家，农村就是他做科研的殿堂。他的科研成果就是超级杂交水稻。第二段描述他的家庭出身，学业，献身水稻科研的原因及所取得的成就。第三段告诉我们袁博士过着跟普通人一样的生活却干着伟大的事业。即使在功成名就之后，他也淡泊名利, 有着无私奉献的高尚精神。第四段讲袁隆平的工作理想和目标，以及他热爱人民和为人民不断进取的精神。COMPREHENDING 部分设计了三个练习。第一个是判断练习，学生根据课文中理解和收集的信息做出判断，甚至通过讨论才能做出判断。第二个是词语理解题。第三个练习提出问题，要求学生在阅读课文后作出回答,以检验他们的理解力和训练他们的归纳总结能力。学情分析学生情况分析：1. 高一（下）的学生，虽然经过上一个学期的过渡衔接，但在语言基础知识、语言运用以及学习方法等方面仍有很大的差距。应结合学生实际情况，作好学生问卷调查，分好学习小组，创设人文环境，发挥小组优势互补的作用，鼓励学生大胆参与讨论，通过体验、交流、合作和探究等学习方式，培养学生自主与合作的学习能力。2. 学生基本的阅读能力基本具备，但有待于提高， 对农业话题不熟悉。通过设置问题指导学生正确阅读并掌握阅读技巧中的快速阅读和精读。通过学生之间和师生之间的互动讨论让学生学会分析，归纳的方法，培养学生自主学习，有效交际的学习习惯。3. 在情感和认知方面：针对高中生思维活跃，自我意识强，求知欲旺盛等特点，引导学生通过各种资源媒体，激发学生兴趣，获取更多的信息，形成知识技能。同时，也可结合大部分来自农村的学生这个特点，宣传目前国家对农业优惠政策，激发学生热爱农村，热爱农业和发展绿色农业，树立正确的世界观和人生观。 教学目标及重难点Teaching Aims: 1.
