外研版选修十一Module 6 The United Nations 教案设计 Module6The UnitedNations课型Reading andSpeaking语篇分析所选语篇为选修11第6模块Reading andVocabulary部分文章A QuickGuide to the UN。 该语篇从7个方面对联合国做了简单介绍联合国的起源(The origins)、使命(The mission)、联合国大会(The Assembly)、安理会(The SecurityCouncil)、秘书长(The Secretary-General)、联合国机构(The agencies)、目前的联合国(The UNtoday)。 学情分析授课对象为南开中学高二年级高分班的同学，学生的综合能力较强。 经过2年的高中英语学习，积累了一定的语言基础，且高二学生已有很强的逻辑思维、批判思维及创新性思维能力了。 他们对于国际的热点问题非常关注，也很有自己的观点看法，非常乐于参与相关话题的讨论。 德育目标xx年版普通高中英语课程标准中提出需要培养学生的文化意识，这样有助于“学生增强国家认同和家国情怀，坚定文化自信，树立人类命运共同体意识学会做人做事，成长为有文明素养和社会责任感的人”。 因此，本节课的德育目标即1.通过联合国相关知识的学习以及了解世界上正在发生的重大事件，如非洲埃博拉疫情、叙利亚危机、人工智能的发展、全球诚实化进程等，从学生自身和联合国两个角度设想解决办法，以此来树立学生的“人类命运共同体意识”，鼓励学生对国际事务献计献策，参与其中。 2.通过了解中国从财政（第二大贡献国）和军事上对联合国的支持与贡献，增强学生的国家认同感和民族自信。 3.同时，通过阅读联合国官网上题为“?Enough isenough;stop attackson children?underscores UNICEF”的文章，了解处于战事中国家孩子的悲惨现状，进而更加珍惜自己现在拥有的和平幸福生活。 同时，也激励同学们现在努力学习，以后争取更多机会去帮助世界上苦难的孩子们。 设计思路想要在短短的45分钟内处理完教材上的一篇长课文，还有联合国官网上的一篇英文原版文章，且要承载以上提到的诸多德育目标以及下文要提到的其他教学目标，可以说是难以实现的任务。 因此，本节课采用了翻转课堂的教学方式，将需要课上处理的文章转为课下学生自学，以此来节省课上时间，提高学习效率。 鉴于教材上文章A QuickGuide to the UN是一篇介绍联合国的通识性的文章，且结构清晰，所以笔者将其做成了一则时长4分钟左右的微课视频，让学生课下学习。 课上通过齐答或抢答的方式进行检测与复习。 学生通过自学已掌握此部分有关联合国知识后，课上带领学生重点关注联合国的使命和机构两个方面。 联合国使命为贯穿本课的主线，以其始，以其终。 至于联合国的机构，让学生通过名字猜测其职责，明确机构分工后，为后面“Enough isEnough”文章的学习提出援救孩子措施做好铺垫。 课上带领学生登录联合国官网，从官网上进一步加深对联合国的了解。 重点带领学生从联合国官网上浏览目前世界上正在发生的重大事件，提升他们的国际视野。 共选取了6个热点事件，并将介绍这些事件的文章排好版、做好生词注释、提前打印好发给学生作为他们的课下补充学习材料。 这些文章包括“?Enough isenough;stop attackson children?underscores UNICEF”,“Goal2:End hunger,achieve foodsecurity andimproved nutritionand promoteagriculture”,“Emergency meetingcalled asEbola spreadsto CongolesecityUN healthagency”,“At UN,robot Sophiajoins meetingon artificialintelligence andsustainable development”,“Syria emergency”,“Around2.5billion morepeople willbe livingin citiesby2050,projects newUN report”。 但本课上重点学习其中一篇“?Enough isenough;stop attackson children?underscores UNICEF”，借以了解世界上处于战争中国家孩子们的境况。 进而让学生们展开讨论作为学生，我们能为那些孩子做些什么？如果我们现在做不了太多，谁可以做？中国从财政和军事上都为联合国做出了很多贡献，我们有没有义务要一直这样做下去？一个国家的力量是否足够？最终回到联合国的使命上来联合国建立的初衷就是维护世界和平与安全。 教学目标语言能力提取、总结战事国中孩子们所面临的风险及被迫要做的工作；从联合国官网上学习联合国使命的英文表达并能运用到课上的讨论中去Maintain InternationalPeace andSecurity,Protect HumanRights,Deliver HumanitarianAid,Promote SustainableDevelopment,Uphold
