旨在通过本单元的教学 使学生了解奥运会的基本知识 包括奥运会的起源 宗旨 比赛项目以及古现代奥运会 的异同 其目的是培养学生对体育运动的爱好 增强学生的爱国主义意识 并以此拓展 学生的国际视野 本部分是该单元的主要阅读材料 跟初中类似的阅读材料相比较而言 该阅读材料形式 新颖 词汇量加大 它既具备了大量有关奥运会的信息 又集中了有用的词汇和语言结 构 帮助学生了解有关奥运会的基本知识 warming up 是该部分的铺垫 根据教材内容 相似性的特点 把 warming up pre reading reading 以及 comprehending 整合为一堂阅读 课 因此本节阅读课被调整为本单元的第一课时 而原本属于 warming up 部分的会话交 际内容将会被安排到作业设计中 以弥补课堂时间不足 二 教学目标二 教学目标 一 语言知识目标 1 学习本课新词汇 honest
