In this unit, Ss are expected to introduce their family and friends in English. The topic “family” relate to our daily life closely. So it would be easier and more interesting for Ss to learn. After this unit, Ss would be able to introduce and identify family members.II. Analysis of Ss After learning three starter units and unit 1, most Ss are able to express simple ideas of themselves in English. They are able to greet people, talk about things, and ask names. Besides, they started to think in the mind style of western countries. Family is the irrevocable thing in our life. Ss should be able to introduce their family members after this unit.
