They have also learned how to express the inner feelings. The task of this lesson is to review the description of appearance and grasp the methodology of reading passages and stories first and then get good command of the ways to retell the stories through what they have learned from the lesson. In addition, students can know more about the definition about friends, which is extended from appearance to inner world and behaviour.Objectives:1. To understand the story and grasp the methodology of reading passages and stories.2. To be able to retell the story through what they have learned from this lesson and know about some key verbs in terms of friendship.3. The definition of friendsSs: Watch the video together T-S: Say something about 2008 Olympic GamesSs: Look at the pictures of teachers friends T: Summarize the definition of friendsSa: Say something about their friendsT-S: Elicit the key verbs in terms of friendship by given picturesTo elicit the topic of this lessonTo feel the board meaning of friendsII. While-task procedures1. Introduce the two main characters of the story2. Tell the differences between the lion and the mouse3. Make the story book: The lion and his new friend4. Listen to the story and try to imitate: The lion and his new friend5. Think and choose Why are the lion and the mouse happy? Why can they became friends? How does the mouse help the lion?
