Warming-upThe teacher shows a picture(there is much homework to do). Then the teacher guides these students to ask: Whats the matter? or Whats wrong ? Then the students answer by themselves: He has much homework to do.Step2. PresentationThe teacher asks the students to look at 1a. There are many problems. Do you think they are serious or not? Give the students five minutes to discuss with their partner and think about some advice.1. I have to study too much so I dont get enough sleep.2. I have too much homework so I dont have any free time to do things I like.3. My parents dont allow me to hang out with my friends.4. I have too many after-school classes.5. I got into a fight with my best friend.Step3. Listening practiceThe teacher gives these students two minutes to read the question in 2a. Then the teacher plays the recording for them twice.Then check the answers together.Step4. Consolidation1. Ask the students to read the conversation in the box.2. Let them to make their own conversation with their partner. Then let them show themselves in front of the classroom.Step5. Listening practice and consolidationLet the students work on 2a and 2b. The teacher will play each recording twice. Then check the answers together. Then the teacher asks the students to read after her to practice the sentences. After that, the teacher asks the students to make a conversation using the information in 2a and 2b.Step6. Role-play the conversation1. Ask the students to read this conversation by themselves first.2. The teacher will guide the students to understand this conversation and teach some language points.3.
